Family bids farewell to Fawcett Agencies

Los Angeles: Friends and family of Farah Fawcett including longtime partner Ryan O'Neal and their son Redmond came together to say a final goodbye to the deceased actress.

Fawcett, the iconic pin up girl of the 70's, who rose to stardom with the TV series 'Charlie's Angels', died battling cancer on Thursday at the age of 62.

Her son, who was in jail at the time of her death was temporarily freed from jail for the service to bid her farewell, CNN reported.

The service which was held at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles was private and closed to the media.

Ryan O'Neal helped carry Fawcett's casket from the hearse into the church. Her "Charlie's Angels" co-star Kate Jackson and close friend, model Cheryl Tiegs were among those who attended the service.
