What has been the most defining moment of your career?

I must say that it was quite an honor when the late Egyptian director Youssif Chahine asked to meet with me. He was such an admirable human being and most definitely a film genius.

You have a lot of experience in theatre, can we know what attracted you towards films?

Both film and theatre are great passions of mine. In films, thanks to technology, you can make any scene look and feel believable; the possibilities are endless! This is a definite bonus when you are working as an actor.

What do you feel about working in Bollywood?

I have always been interested in indian movies and have been watching them since i was a little girl. The indian culture is something that fascinates me. I look forward to the day I reach Bollywood!!!

What attracted you towards Bollywood?

Not only the movies are very entertaining but they portray such thoughtful messages and life values.

Which is your favorite Bollywood movie?

I must say Kuch Kuch Hota Hai!!! I love Shah Rukh Khan’s charismatic attitude in all his films.

Who is your favorite Bollwood actor?

I find Aamir Khan to be a tremendously talented actor and to work with him would be such a privilege.

Who is your favorite Bollywood actress?

There are two actresses whom i admire very much. Kajol for always following her instincts as an actress and Madhuri Dixi for her credibility in her movie roles. They are both superb performers.

What are your upcoming projects?

I have been reading couple of scripts, no decision has been made as of yet. I am also working right now on a few projects such as writing a book about what it really takes to get your foot in the door, starting my own acting career consultant company, rehearsing for my upcoming play and designing my merchandise for my online store.

Which is the project that you are most proud of?

I am very proud of everything I have achieved so far. However, I must say that my greatest achievement has been to be able to pick up and leave whenever it was needed, whether it was LA, Cairo, New York or Valencia all while leaving friends and loved ones behind in order to keep my career alive.

What would you like to say to the viewers of screen?

I would love nothing more for the readers to get to know me and familiarize themselves with my work...after all working in India is most definitely in plans. (with a huge smile)
