Mumbai, September 26: : An inane comedy

Producer: Friday Pictures

Director: B H Tharun Kumar

Writer: Ikram Akhtar

Stars: Aslam Khan , Yudhishtir Urs, Nauheed Cyrussi, Nisha Rawal

Rating: -

Plot: Two good-for-nothing brothers meet two good-for-nothing sisters.

Verdict: Mindless comedy that does't work.

Box Office Prospects: Rare.

Creative Quotient:

Even if it were a pale copy of Sanjay Dutt-Govinda ‘Haseena Maan Jayegi’, it may have worked to an extent. But these two good-for-nothing brothers - Pappu (Yudhishtir) and Munnu (Aslam) and there capers are so inane and predictable that you end up squirming in your seat constantly.

These two turn up cross-dressed at a beauty paegent just to have a closer brush with the contestants! They also sashay down the ramp with them, trip and the oranges filling out their gowns get thrown out and the judge happens to be their industrialist father. Disgraced, he turns out his sons on the streets. They meet two sisters who have been dodging all match-making efforts of their father. But that's not all.

The foursome runs into two macho sisters (with veiled lesbian connotation) Kokila (Archana Puran Singh) and Koena (Mita Vashisht), who can beat bunch of goons into pulp with their karate chops. The martial sisters are still unmarried and their father wills his wealth to them only if they were married off within a day. The sisters get hold of Pappu and Munnu to be their grooms. The confusion and chaos compounds. It becomes a trial to sit through this screening.

Technical Expertise:

All the technical effort of the makers is totally wasted in this lacklustre venture. Nauheed Cyrussi, Yushishtir, Aslam fail to impress while Nisha Rawal would work better with a better diction. Shakti Kapoor, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Mita and Archana are simply unbearable in their over-the-top roles.

Rating: This film is a colossal waste of time and effort of the makers and viewers.
