Khauff music released


The music of Chirag Arts’ Khauff was released on August 24 at a gurudwara at Seven Bungalows. It is being marketed by Super Cassettes Industries Ltd. Being produced by Vijay Tolani and directed by Sanjay Gupta, the film stars Sanjay Dutt, Manisha Koirala, Sharad Kapoor, Simran, Mukesh Khanna, Parmeet Sethi, Tinnu Anand, Navin Nischol, Farida Jalal, Jaspal Bhatti, Dinesh Anand, Anant Mahadevan, Anjan Srivastava, Ishrat Ali, Homi Wadia and Suresh Oberoi with Raveena Tandon and Daler Mehndi in special roles. Dialogue by Anand Vardhan, cinematography by Kabir Lal, choreography by Saroj Khan and Ahmed Khan, art by Nitin Desai, sound by SC Bhambri, lyrics by Dev Kohli and Mehboob and music by Anu Malik are other major credits.

Dal - The Gang

Producer Sanjay Thakur and director Vicky Ranawat recorded the third song for SM Internationals’ Dal-The Gang on August 24 at AB Sounds. Penned by Sudhakar Sharma, they were set to tune by music director Shyam Sunder and rendered by Kavita Krishnamoorthy. Another ten-day shooting stint for the film commenced on September 1 at MBC Studios, MK Estate, Film City, Chandivili Studios and Madh Island. The film stars Suresh Oberoi, Raj Devgan, Sandhya Mehra, Raja Hitesh, Aditya Kumar, Aroon Verma, Ragini Sunila, Monica Patel, Sara Khan, Ishrat Ali, Razzak Khan, Dinesh Hingoo, Mushtaq Khan, Rajesh Bakshi, Sanjay Swaraj Devaa, Anil Nagrath, Neeraj Vikram, Jyoti Dev, Ramesh Goyal, Girija Shankar, Ranjeet, Mohan Joshi and Sadashiv Amrapurkar. With only two songs left to be picturised, the entire talkie portion of the film will be completed in the month of September. Written by Arjun Arvind, it has cinematography by S Pappu, choreography by Ganesh Hegde, action by Hira Singh and editing by Cuckoo and Kuckoo. The film willl be released in October.

Bombay Girls

Kamarindo Films’ Bombay Girls is all set for release on September 10 all over. The film stars Jay Thakur, Dony Kapoor, Sudarshana, Sonia Kapoor, Tawan Kumar, Ramesh Goel, Anil Nagrath, Vinod Tripathi and Shakti Kapoor with Bappi Lahiri in a special role. Produced by Thakur Bherwani, Kumar Manwani and Mahendra D and directed by Komal, it has music by Bappi Lahiri, lyrics by Rani Malik, cinematography by S Pappu and dialogue by Aadesh K Arjun.

Bad Boys

Music directors Jeet-Ashish recorded the third song for Vinayak Films’ Bad Boys on August 11 at Subhash Recording Theatre in the voice of Shaan. The entire shooting of the film was completed following a seven-day spell from August 25 to September 3 at Beach House, MBC Studios, Film City and Essel World. It stars Rakhi, Amit, Anay, Sikandar, Himanshu, Hemant Pande, Mukesh Rishi, Vidya Snha, Razzak Khan, Dinesh Hingoo, Jaya Mathur, Aanchal Malhotra, Gurbachan Singh, Suresh Chatwal, Sudhir, Brij Gopal, Mohan Joshi and Gulshan Grover. Produced by Jatin Kumar and directed by Vicky Kumar, the film has story by Salim Reza, music by Sayyed Ahmed, choreography by Longie, action by Masood Patel and editing by Om Prakash Makkar.

Bechainee

Sudesh Berry, Moon Moon Sen, Jyoti Rana, Dalia Singh, Ram Asra and Raza Murad participated in a two-day spell for Sana Movies International’s Bechainee on August 8 and 9 at Gagan Lakshmi bungalow. The film is now complete. The film also stars Renu Ratan, Anita Wahi, Usha Singh, Prithvi Zitshi, Anil Nagrath, Alok Nath and Kiran Kumar. Being produced by Abdul Karim and directed by Ravi Ravan, it has music by Charles Srinivasan and cinematography by Ashok Bahl. The entire editing work of the film was completed at Video Kraft while the entire post-production work was completed on August 30. The first print of the film will be out soon and it is scheduled for release in October.

Haseena No.1

Nisha Productions’ Haseena No.1 was shot from August 24 to 27 at Film City, Mayur bungalow and other locales of Mumbai wherein many dramatic, emotional and other scenes were picturised on the entire starcast comprising Madhuri, Rajiv Raj, Pramod Moutho, Deepak Shirke, Harish Patel, Yunus Parveiz, Ali Khan and Vinod Tripathi. Written-produced and directed by SV Verma, the film has music by Tapas Babun and cinematography by Manish Jahangir.

Khooni Chehra

The editing work of Pardesi Films’ Khooni Chehra was completed on August 18 at Deep Editing while the dubbing work began from August 23 at Film City. Starring Shakti Kapoor, Vishal, Rajni Chandra, Kaajal, Ali Khan, Shiva Ramesh, Goyal, Esh Kohli, Sameer, Surinder Sharma, Amar Sharma, Santosh Rane, Johny Flower, Murari Sharma and JP Pardesi, the film is directed and cinematographed by Dinesh K Thakker for producer JP Pardesi. Story by Rajendra Bittu, choreography by Gopal Kamble, music by Surindar Attra and lyrics by Anand Tripathi and Chopra are other major credits. Santosh Rana and Makhanlal Musafir are the co-producers.

The Messenger

Writer-producer-director-editor Kader Kashmiri completed the entire shooting of United Hums’ The Messenger on August 17 at Essel Studios. Shoebh Khan, Rucheeta Sahay, Jay Thakur, Rajul Gandhi, Suneil Don, Seema Siddhu, Hyder Khan and Sara Khan participated in the spell. The film is being readied for an early release and will also be sent to major International film festivals.

Maut Ki Raat

Sachi Arts’ Maut Ki Raat will go on floors in September at Basra Studios, MBC Studios, Film City and Essel Studios with a non-stop 12-day shooting schedule. The film is being produced and directed by Chandni Gupta and stars Lalitesh, Satnam Kaur, Sapna, Chandni Gupta, Satyendra, Vijay Gupta, Ali Khan, Birbal Rajeev Raaj, Ramesh Goyal, Babban and Sukhwinder Singh. Cinematography by Salim Suma, music by Saurabh and lyrics by Muzaffar Rampuri are other major credits.

Sundari

The first shooting schedule of Shobha Creations’ Sundari was completed at Madh Island wherein many action, dramatic and romantic scenes were canned featuring all the artistes. One song was also picturised on Ankush Mohit and Nishi Varma. Produced by Shobha Creations’ and directed by Dipu Banerjee, it has music by Ajay Midha, story by RS Pandit, lyrics by Balvir Tanha, cinematography by Mrinmoy Roy, action by Jaswant Singh and choreography by Danesh. The film also stars Rahul, Rani Sinha, Arbindo, Reena Chakrawarty, Ranjeet, Harish Patel, Ramesh Goyal and Raza Murad. Chandan Das is the executive producer.

Gaon Ki Goree

Tristar Films’ Gaon Ki Goree went on floors recently in Mumbai. Being produced by M Pandya, KD Babu and Naresh Namdeo and directed by M Pandya, the film stars Rajeev Raaj, Amisha, Satnam Kaur, Asmita, Manish Berry, Namita, Sudhir Dalvi, Nitin Malhotra, Anil Nagrath, Mac Mohan and Paintal. Written by Manoj Sinha it has lyrics by Kuku Prawahaas, music by Babu Kishan and cinematography by Manish Jehangir. Three songs of the film have already been recorded.

Dil Dije Dil Waaran Khe

Kamarindo Films’ Sindhi venture Dil Dije Dil Waaran Khe was shot from August 27 to 29 at MBC Studio, Film City and other locales of Mumbai. Choreographer Habiba Rehman picturised the last song on Jay Thakur and Maanvi Goswami who are playing the romantic lead in the film. With only a day’s shooting left in September, the entire shooting of the film will be complete. The film also stars Moon Moon Sen, Biswajeet, Mac Mohan, Sudhir, Yunus Parweiz, Gajendra Chauhan, Shagufta Ali, Ajit Vachani, Seema Motwani, Asha Vachani, Johnny Nirmal, Ghanshyam Rohera, Anil Nagrath, Shiva, Rajesh Puri, Guddi Maruti and Tawan Kumar. Produced by Thakur Bherwani, Kumar Manwani and Manoj Bhenwani and directed by Kumar Manwani, the film has music by Ram Shankar and cinematography by S Pappu.

Main Kamli Yaar Di...

Sunny Internationals’ Punjabi film Main Kamli Yaar Di Kamli was launched on August 18 with a song recording at Classic Recording Studio. Music director S Raajwinder recorded eight songs which were penned by Major Mitrawala and rendered by Sheetal Sharma. Produced by Jasbinder Sharma, its starcast and other credits are yet to be finalised. It is a Anoop Jalota presentation.
