Love Story ’98 is now Love Story Deewano Ki
Bappi Lahiri’s musical venture Love Story 98 is now titled as Love Story Deewano Ki. The entire shooting and post production work of the film was completed recently at BR Theatre and the film is ready for release in December all over. Starring Jayaprada, Siddhartha Dhawan, Shatabdi Roy, Apache Indian, Boy George, Poonam Zhaver, Rajesh Puri, Aroon Bakshi, Jyoti Rana, Wahid Hashmi, Shweta Menon and Kiran Kumar. Produced-written by Bappi Lahiri who has also composed the music, the film is being directed by Inayat Sheikh. Being presented by Sani Rama Audio Pvt. Ltd., the film has cinematography by S Chima, editing by Sanjay Verma and lyrics by Anwar Sagar, Nawab Arzoo, Dr Deepak Sneh and Sunil Jha. Mrs. Chitrani Lahiri is the co-producer.

Final shooting spell for Qaidi
The final shooting spell for Picture Perfect Productions and Surendra Bohras’ Qaidi started at Ooty and Chennai from October 15. It will last till the entire shooting of the film is over. Starring Mithun Chakraborty, Sunita, Nirmal Pandey, Mukesh Rishi, Ali Khan, Jack Gaud, Shiva, Vishwajeet Pradhan and Raza Murad, it is produced by Sunil Bohra and Randeep Arya. Being directed by TLV Prasad from his own story and screenplay, it has dialogue by Anup Shrivastava, cinematography by KV Ramanna, choreography by Ganesh and Habiba, action by Mehmood Bakshi, editing by Deepak Kapoor, music by Bappi Lahiri. The film is getting readied for a December release.

Dil Bhi Kya Cheez Hai
Music director Ram Shankar recorded three songs for Kush Internationals’ maiden venture Dil Bhi Kya Cheez Hai at Sahara and Sunny Super Sounds recently. Penned by Sameer, the songs were rendered by Salma Agha, Pankaj Udhas, Alka Yagnik, SP Balasubramaniam and Shubha Mudgal. Produced by Pappu Verma and cinematographed and directed by Lawrence D’Souza, the film introduces Shivam and Rani Raaj Kumar (daughter of late Raaj Kumar) with Milind Gunaji, Shama Gesawal, Dalip Tahil, Sushma Seth, Satyen Kappu, Pramod Moutho, Smita Jaykar, Yash Tank, Indrajeet Singh, Bobby and Salma Agha in key roles. Story by Anwer Shah and Masud Patel, music by Ram Shankar, lyrics by Sameer, editing by Sanjay Verma, choreography by Jojo Khan, sound by Narendra Shinde, action by Masud Patel and art by R Varman are other major credits. Aashiq launched
Shweta Internationals’ Aashiq was launched on October 11 with a song recording at Empire Audio Studio. The film stars Bobby Deol and Urmila Matondkar in the lead. Being directed by K Murlimohan Rao for producer Anil Sharma, it has story by Anwar Khan, music by Sanjeev Darshan and lyrics by Sameer. Three songs of the film are being recorded at one stretch.

Shivaji Satam signed for Kurukshetra
Noted character actor Shivaji Satam has been signed to play a key role for Dhirubhai Ambani’s Kurukkshetra. The film starring Sanjay Dutt is being directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. The film is being presented by Time.
