Mahendra Shah launches Be-Khabar
Roopa Films’ Be Khabar was launched on October 10 with a seven-day shooting schedule. Amit Shah sounded the clapboard, Roopa Shah broke the coconut while Aruna Shah lit the lamp for the muhurat shot. Being written-produced and directed by Mahendra Shah, the film stars Aditya Pancholi, Faraaz Khan, Monty, Tariq Shah, Aroon Bakshi and Rajoo Shrestha. Two heroines are yet to be finalised. Dialogue and lyrics by Shashi Raj, cinematography by Lenin Xavier, action by Ilyas, choreography by Nadeem Khan, art by Anant Shinde, editing by Bharat, sound by Pinki More and music by Ghulam Ali-Chander are other major credits.

Raat Ki Baat
The entire shooting of Ashta Lakshmi Films’ Raat Ki Baat was completed on October 13 at Essel Studio. Cinematographer-director Anil Dhanda canned the entire talkie portion and some songs on Mandeep, Sapna and Rajani Chandra during the stint held at Kolhapur, AAA Studio, Crown Studio, Essel Studio and various locales of Mumbai. It also stars Mahesh Gupta, Kirti Rawal, Payal, Bhag Singh, Mehendi, Sakshi, Mac Mohan and Majid Shola. Produced by Mrs Lakshmi Narayan, the film has story by Bashir Babbar and music is by Datta Kumbhar who has already recorded all the songs.

Vishpot shooting complete
The entire shooting of Mega Films’ Vishpot was completed on October 16 at Kamal Amrohi Studio and MBC Studio. The post-production work is on from October 20 at Vishash Films. The film stars Makrand Deshpande, Kishori Godbole, Upasana Singh, Asrani, Vishwajeet Pradhan, Shehzad Khan, Meenakshi Iyer, Razzak Khan, Mushtaq Khan, Manish Bhatt, Sachinder Sharma, newfind Anees Khan, Anwar Kavish, Raza Murad and Kiran Kumar with Anjan Srivastava (in a friendly appearance). Produced by K Baghdadi and written and directed by MI Raaj, it has cinematograpy by Ram Singh, dialogue by Anup Shrivastava, choreography by Habiba Rehman, action by Mohan Pujary, editing by IM Kunnu, music by Shekhar Sharma and lyrics by Bekhabar. Mannu Surti is presenting the film.

Thodi Si Jagah to be launched
Shahrukh Films’ Thodi Si Jagah was launched on October 28 with a muhurat at Mehboob Studio. Produced by E Alam and being directed by Aadil, it has story by Suroor Lucknowi and music by Lav-Kush. The other cast and credits are yet to be finalised.

Naa Jaane Kyon launched
Harbansha Films’ Naa Jaane Kyon was launched on October 19 with a pooja ceremony. The film will go on floors on December 11 with a start-to-finish shooting spell. Produced by Pawan Verma and Vishal and directed by S Ali, it has story by Onkarnath Mishra. Parvez Ali is the co-producer. A Gopal Sharma presentation, the starcast and other technical credits are yet to be finalised.

Ek Nai Disha
Ek Nai Disha was launched with the recording of a song on October 15 at Sahara India. The song was rendered by Alka Yagnik. Being produced by Nitin Sharma and AP Sharma and presented by RP Sharma, it has direction by Kirti Kumar. It has lyrics and music by Kamini Khanna and cinematography by Peter Pereira. Other cast and credits are yet to be finalised.

Naa Khuda to be launched
Saima Cine Arts’ Naa Khuda is to be launched on November 18 with a song recording at Sahara Recording Studio, Mumbai. Produced by MU Ansari, it has screenplay and direction by Ashok Gautam, cinematography by Anil Dhanda, sound by Akhilesh Acharya and editing by Sanjay Verma. The starcast and technical credits are yet to be finalised.

Tera Saath Na Chhodenge
A ten-day initial shooting spell for Saima Cine Arts’ Tera Saath Na Chhodenge (based on AIDS) was held from October 18 at Kamal Amrohi Studio and various locales of Mumbai. The film stars Saurav Dev, Gargi, Sahiba, Abhay Dutta, Anjali Kolhapuri, Vidushi, Mausam Akbar and Mahesh Raj. Produced by MU Ansari and being conceived and directed by Ashok Gautam it has screenplay and dialogue by Harish Jadhav, cinematography by Anil Dhanda, sound by Akhlesh Acharya, choreography by Habiba Rehman, editing by Sanjay Verma and music by Bhudev-Nishad.

Kaala Mandir
The entire post-production work of KK Movies’ Kaala Mandir was completed on October 25 at Studio Ablaze. The first print will be out on October 30. Being produced by Arvind J Agarwal and Dr Dinesh S Darak and directed by Hemant-Kamal, the film stars Javed Khan, Neelam Sagar, Neelam Mehra, Neelima Azeem, Sudhir Tiwari, Rukhsaar, Kishore Bhanushali and Johnny Nirmal with Shakti Kapoor in a guest role. Written by JK Ahuja, it has cinematography by M Iqbal and editing by Vishwanath Roy. The film is presented by KG Agarwal and Ganesh S Darak.

Khooni Shikunja launched
J Bharati Films’ Khooni Shikunja was launched on October 19. The film, being produced by Vinod Verma and directed by Yashwant, has screenplay by Anil Kavsh and dialogue by Bashir Babbar. The film will be completed in a single schedule from October 23 till November 3. Three songs have already been recorded. The film stars Hitesh Patel and Isha in the lead with Kiran Kumar, Raza Murad, Lekha Govil, Anil Dhawan, Dinesh Hingoo, Anil Nagrath, Deep Jyoti, Black Billi and Sapna in key roles.

Final editing of Bad Boys
The final editing of Vinayak Films’ Bad Boys began on October 19. Earlier on October 18 the last days’ shooting was held at Beach House wherein Raakhi, Himanshu, Amit, Anay, Sikander, Hemant Pande, Mukesh Rishi, Mack Mohan and Gulshan Grover participated in the pre-climax scenes. The film also stars Vidya Sinha, Sanjay Garodia, Razzak Khan, Dinesh Hingoo, Suresh Chatwal, Sudhir, Aanehal Malhotra, Brij Gopal and Mohan Joshi. Produced by Jatin Kumar, the film is written by Salim Reza and has story by Robby Kumar, cinematography by Akram Khan, lyrics by Dev Kohli, music by Syed Ahmed and Jeet Ashish, sound by Prakash Bhatia, choreography by Longie and Lollypop, action by Masood Patel and editing by Om Prakash Makkar.

Aadmi Aur Aurat due in November
B Gupta Creation’s Aadmi Aur Aurat is all set for release in November. The film, produced, directed and cinematographed by B Gupta, stars Alka Kubal, Raza Murad and Harish Bhimani in important roles. Written by JK Ahuja, the film has music by Usha Khanna. Sonu Nigam, Udit Narayan and Swapna Awasthi have lent their voices for the songs.

Apradhi Kaun in November
Orison Production’s Apradhi Kaun? will release in November all over. Written by Mohan Bhakri, the film stars Ram Asra, Madhoo, Mehak, Ishrat ali, Kishore Arora, Mavis D’Souza, Rohit Verma, Kunaal, Anjaana, Rishikesh, Mohan Joshi, Jagdeep, Raza Murad and Kiran Kumar. A Dinesh Kannan presentation, the film has music by NadeemShravan and cinematography by Arvind Bhakri.

Bahke Kadam
Set for release on November 26, Om Namah Shivay Production’s Bahke Kadam stars Raashee, Aryan, Amisha Desai, Namrata, Sagar, Vaarun Vardan, ARun Sangal, Abhay Bhargav, Suhas Khandekar, Kishore Bhanushali, Shakti Kapoor and Trishna. Being produced by R Ghai, the film has story and direction by K Shivram, cinematography by Dilip Dey, music by Dilip K Tahir and Shiboo Pintoo. PL Ghai presents the film.

Kaatil Main Hoon
Parveen Productions’ Kaatil Main Hoon will be launched shortly in Mumbai. The film, being produced by Mehmooda and directed by Yuvraj Singh, has story by Dinesh Rai Bichhand and cinematography by Manish Jehangeer. Other cast and credits are yet to be finalised.

Bhoola Na Dena
KN Films’ Bhoola Na Dena wil be launched in November on Mumbai locales with a three-day shooting stint. Being produced by Manoj Saraf and written and directed by Dinesh Rai Bichhand, the film stars Kamaal Khan, Pooja Roy and Ali Khan.

Editing complete for Husn
Producers Anjali Dutta, Surekha Dhanu and writer-director Gurmeet Singh completed the final editing for their Anjali Films’ Husn at Aruna Raje editing room, Mumbai under the supervision of editor Deepak Vilas. The film stars Arif Rizvi, Rajeev Raj, Dalia Singh, Archana Kapoor, Bobby Singh, Yamini, Shweta Shetty, Gufi Paintal, Baby Nazneen and Pramod Moutho in key roles. Music by Daleep Dutta, lyrics by Nawab Arzoo and Deepak Sneh, cinematography by Anand Pawaskar, dialogue by Shah Nawaz, action by Riyaz Sultan, editing by Deepak Vilas and choreography by B Shi-vaji and Ramdev are other credits.

Production No.1
Bina Films have announced their maiden venture, yet untitled, to be produced by Shyamal Roy and written and directed by Arunabh Aman. The film will have music by Hemant, cinematography by Pram-od Pandey, lyrics by Benaam and editing by Vibhuti Bhushan. The starcast and credits are yet to be finalised.

Bicchand to write, direct
Dinesh Rai Bicchand has been signed to write and direct Anjali Film Productions’ Production No.3 which will go on floors in November. The film is being produced by Gautam Dutta and has music by Dilip Dutta. The cast and credits are yet to be finalised.
