Agnichakra

A social worker is approached by a man to eliminate his brother-in-law (the brother of his new wife) who lived with him. Things had gotten sour between the man and his wife, who had then moved out with cash and jewellery even though her brother stayed on at the house. Now, a deal is struck to eliminate the brother-in-law for a sum of Rs 2 lakh. The contract killer then invites this man for a drive and with an accomplice, stabs him. While escaping, a suspicious police official in the area stops and interrogates them. Meanwhile a 250-strong procession tries to protest on behalf of the social worker but later withdraws when they realise she’s actually guilty. The lady gets life imprisonment from the court.

On Hema’s (Zarina Wahab) insistence a witchcraft practicing eunuch Vali Mahal (Gujraj Rao) has invoked the spirits to break the relationship between Hema’s daughter Reva (Poonam Narula) and Rajan Hussain. The invocation, the burning glove of the magic ash that Hema mixes in Reva’s drink has an effect on her. Rajan is down with a sudden and unexplained ailment and comes close to his death. Reva forgets about Rajan and agrees to marry according to her mother’s choice. But Rajan comes to the marriage. And seeing him the effect of the supernatural device fades away. Hema grabs her and takes her to Vali Mahal Saraa so that the final and most dangerous phase of the supernatural design can begin. Vali stabs magical feathers into Rajan’s gloves. Rajan writhes with pain. But so does Reva... seeing her daughter dying, Hema realises her mistake and asks Vali to stop the invocation. But it is too late. The spirits have arrived and are greedy. In a last ditch effort, Hema destroys the various items they had prepared for the Vodoo. She upsets the residence of the spirits and incurs their warth. She calls them to punish her but leave the children alone.

Vikram visits his wife and she tells him that she knows the sex of the child but Vikram does not want to know. Nisha’s boyfriend arrives and hears Penny talking to one of her beauty parlour clients about coming over and giving a massage. He makes a pass asking Penny to give him massage. Penny tells Nisha and she is stunned. Nisha wants to break away with her childhood love.

Batra who lost his life on Point 4875 in June 1999.

The advocate from JK finance company arrives with a court bailiff to serve that auction notice. Soumitra argues with him as he pastes the notice on the floor. Preeti goes to meet Dinesh to request him to postpone the auction. He tells her he will not be able to do anything in that matter. Chowdhary tells Mittal that he won’t be able to send Subhash to Mauritius unless his loan matter gets settled. An upset Vijay gets drunk. Dinesh calls up Preeti to tell her that he spoke to the finance executive and he might consider postponing the auction.

Ritwik and Farida meet Nandita at the door. He introduces Farida as his distant family friend named Chanchal. Tanuja accuses Dev for boozing regularly in her absence. Dev blames Tanuja for not giving him time. Sanjeev informs Nandita that he is leaving for USA for a 45-day course in wild life photography. Patwardhan tells Arundhati that he can’t find Tracy D’Souza but he is doubtful about the way Ranjit Sharma died in the Lonawala bungalow when he was going to Goa. Nandita and Ritwik meet Arundhati in the office as they are about to leave for dinner. Aru asks Ritwik what he was doing in Lonawala when Ranjit Sharma died.

Kavita comes home, everybody is shocked. She is put up in Suresh’s guest room. Suresh and Naina take objection to it but Rashmi refuses to listen to any plea. Guruji, Rana, Prakash and Shifali dine at a restaurant. Devi is shocked to see Mohini’s ex-husband with Shifali Rana.

Ajay and Jenny have a fight and he casts apprehensions on her character for switching affiliations to Ashok. There is a phone call for Shakuntala, Anand’s suspicions are further aroused. Tom tells Jenny that she was being too harsh with Ajay. Anand prepares to leave for Pune, Shakuntala leaves immediately. Anand follows but she eludes him. Shakuntala meets Pavan Gupta and a nexus is revealed between the two. It was he who had helped her to ruin Vinayak because he had ditched her after promising marriage. Pavan Gupta tells Shakuntala the police is after him and he has come from Singapore. She talks about Rakesh Tandon being a cheat who has got close to Vinayak’s wife Sharda. Pavan tells her that there was such a man but he died five years ago.
