Doordarshan has decided not to telecast Amitabh Bach-chan-starrers on any of its channels with immediate effect. The decision seems to have been precipitated by Amitabh Bachchan corporation’s failure to pay up Rs. 15 crore which it reportedly owes to the National network.

Hindi Films to Share Theatres in Karnataka
Close on the heels of the set-backs suffered by three Hindi films in West Bengal last month when the distributors committed to release them failed to do so, three more Hindi films appeared to be in trouble in yet another State, Karnataka. The films in question were: Yash Chopra flick Dil To Pagal Hai, the much hyped Nana Patekar starrer Ghulam-E-Mustafa and the Sunil Shetty-Sonali Bendre starrer Bhai.
