Saturday Premiere: Narrow Margin

A district attorney goes in search of a witness to a mob slaying, only to expose her to the killers, and putting both their lives in danger.

LA District Attorney Robert Caulfield goes to a remote cabin in Canada to retrieve Carol Hunnicut, who witnessed the murder of a top-level mobster. However, he accidentally exposes her to the killers who’ve put a price on her head.

Both the DA and the witness make a frantic escape and jump onto a Vancouver-bound train, only to discover that their assailants have followed them on board.

For the next 20 hours, the lawmaker and his star witness play a game of cat and mouse against two killers on board a speeding train travelling through the Canadian Rockies.

Diwali Special: Devil’s Own

But when Devaney arrives in New York on an IRA terrorist mission, O’Meara, a man with a big heart, especially for fellow Irishmen, welcomes the stranger in need into his home, without knowing anything about his past. Soon, the two men bond — Rory finds a family in Tom’s, and Tom enjoys taking the young man in his charge.

When violence is inflicted on his own life and family, Tom begins to suspect that all might not be as it appears. Tom finally discovers the truth about the young visitor, and sets out not only to bring the criminal to justice, but also to keep his new-found friend alive.

The Witness In The Cut

While taking his family out during Ganesh utsav, Daya spots a wanted criminal in a bombing case. He calls for the back-up and the CID apprehends him after shooting him. The ACP convinces the criminal to turn state approver and give in his colleagues. But the news leaks out and now his own associates have put out a contract on the criminal’s life. The CID officers have to organise security till it is time to take the witness to court... but Daya gets a shock when he comes home.

Christmas is round the corner and no one amongst the group of friends seems to have a plan. However a surprise comes everyone’s way, when Vikram walks in with a pet... a monkey probably. In the meantime, while singing at Uncle Sam’s cafe, Penny comes across a scientist who seems to have fallen in love with her. The only problem being that he is too scientific about everything, including dating a girl. Everything has to have a theory. Rahul on the other side is working towards being the Santaclaus for a shop to earn some extra bucks. While the fond affection between Vikram and his pet monkey grows to the extent of Vikram actually treating the monkey as an individual. On the other side Sanjana along with Nisha and Uncle Sam plan out a Christmas party. Penny’s effort to see the scientist turn to a romantic continue. Everyone except Vikram seems to have fixed themselves a date for the Christmas party. But just a day before the party, the scientist friend of Penny gets a scholarship to research abroad. His associate is adamant that he breaks up with Penny and leaves for Russia. But the night at the party things change. While Penny convinces her Scientist boyfriend to forget her for the sake of his research, the associate falls in love with a girl and now does not want to go. Nisha’s date ditches her and for Cyrus, his date turns out to be a mother of three kids. The party with all it’s confusion, becomes for all, a memorable Christmas Eve.

Arundhati decides to leave the house when she comes to know that the new house is given to them by Nandita. She goes to Tanuja’s house. Ritwik Mehta and Das are worried about the private investigation of the fraud. Nandita asks Ritwik Mehta and Das and all her staff members to follow the tradition set by Ranjit Sharma and involve her in all aspects of business. Arundhati doesn’t find Tanuja at her Mumbai’s residence or in Delhi. Nayantara, Gopal Kaka, Vijay everybody is worried about Arundhati. Gopal kaka calls Ritwik and tells him about Arundhati when he is having dinner with Nandita at his place. Arundhati is walking on a deserted road thinking of the past when she is almost hit by a car.

Mausi says that could this have happened because of what I said to her. She feels very bad and guilty. She says she will go and meet her in laws. Sangeeta and Shekhar are feeling bad. She says that the child must have sensed how unwanted he was. It was nature’s way. Shekhar says don’t say that. We know that actually we both wanted the child. Neha tells Sumer about the tragedy. Sumer asks her to go and see Sangeeta. Neha refuses. She says she is afraid. Mausi and Singh go there to break the news. Mausi says she’ll take her to the ashram for 2 days and then bring her here. A senior lawyer tells Jain not to worry, they would win the case. Sumer tells Vasuda that Jain has one of the best lawyers in the city. He is bound to win.

Sparsh

Inder and Anita go to Dr Rawat’s place to finalise the date of marriage. They are unable to do so because Dr Rawat is not there. He has gone out in search of Punnu. Punnu makes Sony very angry when he forces her to cover up for him by handing her his cigarette upon his father’s sudden arrival. Anand calls up Bhumika. He is happily detached and casual. Krishna also calls up Vishwas to tell him that she doesn’t want their families to rush things. Vishwas reassures her by saying that he will go by whatever she wants. Anand recalls an unpleasant argument with Bhumika. This trance is broken by Krishna, who tells him that his child-like transparency makes him very endearing. Punnu tries to appease Sonu but she hangs up the phone on him. Bhumika and Krishna are busy at work. Anand lets himself get carried into thoughts which lead him to stare reflectively at Krishna’s cottage.

After her parents and entire family died in an air-crash, Swati starts to discuss about the supernatural. She is desperate to find some way to contact her family, and her husband Suresh is very angry. He is aware that all the mediums she meets are fakes, attempting to dupe her out of her cash. But in spite of overwhelming evidence to everything being a hoax Swati persists in her delusions... until something tragic happens.

Lahori and Ahmed go to Nagpur to get permission for Guddi and Bala for going home for Diwali. Ajay brings Buttas for Santosh which she loves. Gayatri sees them happy together. Amit also gets bonus and sweet-meats from Sapna. Santosh with Inder, Dinky with Amit congregate at Lahori’s house in the evening for Diwali celebrations. Ajay was also sent there by Kapoor with sweet-meat. Gayatri phones Lahori and asks him to have a good look at the boy and see if he likes him.
