Aaj Ka Ravan
Suchitra Films Enterprises’ Aaj Ka Ravan was launched with a song recording at Sahara India. The song was penned by Kiran Mishra, composed by Pappu-Pawan and rendered by Vinod Rathod. Being produced by Surendra Srivastava and directed by Imran Khalid it will go on floors on November 9 on locales in Ooty, Coimbatore and Chennai. The film stars Mithun Chakraborty, Shalini Kapoor, Siddharth Dhawan, Rana Jung Bahadur, Rajni Chandra, Tej Sapru, Gajendra Chauhan, Anil Nagrath , Mushtaq Khan and Mohan Joshi. Story and screenplay by Khalid, dialogue by Tanvir Durrani, cinematography by Ashok Rao, action by Masood Patel and choreography by Nadeem Khan are other major credits.

Tapish nears completion
Director Jaiprakash and producer Dr Yatinder Singhal will complete the entire shooting of NS Film International’s Tapish (The Burning Desire) on November 16 after canning the last song and a few scenes in Lonavala and Khandala on Tara Deshpande, Ellora Patnaik, Parveen Dabas, Bobby Punia alongwith dancers and junior artistes. The film has story and screenplay by Pradeep Ghatak, dialogue by Naeem Ejaz, cinematography by Prem Ningoo, music by Kishore Sharma, lyrics by Dev Kohli and choreography by Habiba Rehman.

Kirti Kumar to direct
Nitin Enterprises’ maiden venture, Ek Nai Disha, was launched with a song recording on October 15 at Sahara India. The song, penned and tuned by Kamini Khanna, sister of Govinda and Kirti Kumar, was recorded in the voice of Alka Yagnik. Being produced by Nitin Sharma and AP Sharma and presented by RP Sharma, the film has cinematography by Peter Pereira. Smita Thackeray, Ramesh Taurani of Tips and Govinda attended the song recording.

Teri Talash rolls
The first shooting schedule of IIP Films’ Teri Talash began from October 29 on Gujarat locales. Being produced by Islam Sheikh and directed by Indra Kumar Bansal, it stars Saud Khan, Sheeba, Rajni Chandra, Mukesh Dongra, Johny Nirmal, Birbal, Mahesh Raj, Anil Nagrath, Bhiku and Satish Malviya. Music is by Raju Baiju and Vakil Babu.

Rahasya shooting complete
Producer LM Khan and writer-director N Joshi have completed the entire shooting for Victory Film Enterprises’ Rahasya (The Suspense) during the last shooting stint held on October 27 to 29 at Khanna House, Essel Studios and Madh Island, Mumbai. During this stint many dramatic, emotional and the climax scenes were picturised on the entire starcast which includes Pankaj Berry, Almas, Rishabh Shukla, Laxmikant Berde, Aloknath, Ajit Vachchani, Sulbha Deshpande, Viju Khote, Sudhir, Mac Mohan, Tej Sapru, Shiva, Kishore Bhanushali, Neelufer, Shivani, Rahat and Mohan Joshi. Cinematograpby by Tapan Basu, action by Riyaz Sultan and editing by Bishwanath Roy are the other technical credits.

Kaatil Main Hoon
Parveen Production’s Kaatil Main Hoon will be launched shortly in Mumbai. The film, being produced by Mehmooda and directed by Yuvraj Singh, is written by Dinesh Rai Bichhand has cinematography by Manish Jehangir. The starcast and other technical credits will be finalised soon.

Daku Sultana shooting complete
Writer-director Kishan Shah has completed the entire shooting of 5000 Films’ Daku Sultana during a 15-day shooting spell held at Halol wherein all the artistes participated including Sapna who plays the title role along with Aman Sagar, Ranjeet, Mahavir Shah, Ramesh Goel and Anil Nagrath. Priyesh Vakil has provided the music for the film which is edited by Raju Singh and has action by Darshan.The film is produced by Mrs. Shakuntala.

Hum Hain Pyar Mein songs recorded
Producer-director-writer Kesar Matharu recorded the sixth and the last song for his Matharu Films’ Hum Hain Pyar Mein in the voice of ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh at Trio Digital Recording Studio. Penned by Yogesh, it was composed by music director Nishad Jaidya. The film stars Ram and Sonia in the lead. The rest of the starcast and the technical credits are to be finalised.

Kishan Shah’s Heera Bai complete
Writer-director Kishan Shah has completed the entire shooting of his 5000 Films’ Heera Bai during a marathon spell held recently in and around locales of Bangalore. The film stars Pooja Roy in the title role, with Satnam Kaur, Amit Pachori, Ranjeet, Mahavir Shah, Ramesh Goel, Sudhir, Anil Nagrath and Shakti Kapoor in important roles. Story by Basheer Babbar, music by Priyesh Vakil, editing by Raju Singh and action by Darshan are other major credits.

Climax shot for Johrabai
Producer-director-editor Jitendra Chawda has picturised the entire climax sequences for Ishwar Films’ Johrabai from October 29 to 31 at Hiranandani Query and BMC Studios, Mumbai. Satnam Kaur who plays the lady dacoit in the film participated in the current spell alongwith Shakti Kapoor, Mohan Joshi, Kiran Kumar, Rami Reddy, Junior Amitabh Bachchan, Jr. Shahrukh Khan, Jr. Anil Kapoor and Johnny Nirmal. The film has cinematography by Salim Suma, dialogue by Basheer Babar and action by Riyaz Sultan. A Kanta Devi presentation it is co-produced by Ravi Roshan. J Nilam is the associate producer.
