Rewind to 1999. It’s the year when Indian cinema obtained its newest female icon. Sanjay Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, and to a lesser extent, Subhash Ghai’s Taal put Aishwarya Rai in a league of her own, far removed from the interchangeable floozie-in-the-frock stereotype which the average 90s heroine is subjected to. To the surprise of all those who’d written off the stunner as just another ramp-queen, Ash proved herself quite the Jill of Tinselville. Her admirers and fans from the age of 3 to 93 say she’s the last of the movie queens after Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit.

Together they are a blast
Together they give love a new life

Just look at the faces in these pictures and you will know what to expect - so much fun, so much frolic and so much more. These young men (Sanjay and Govinda and young women Sonali Bendre and Twinkle Khanna) who believe in entertainment as a blessing are the people who know the games of comedy.

Soft talk with Tim Sebastian
You want stories and anecdotes out of interviewees. If it’s a politician, you want him to defend himself. But if it’s an actor you really want to hear inside stories about what goes on behind the scenes. You have to use different keys to open different locks
