BOOMED IN PAKISTAN

At no other time, during the last 50 years, has Indian cinema, especially Hindi cinema, dominated the lives of people in Pakistan, or fired their imagination as it does now. It has been years since the government of Pakistan banned Indian films in the country. But every Indian visitor to Pakistan has sensed that Hindi films have left a strong impact on people’s minds. Hindi films have become a way of life in Pakistan, the stars are placed on a pedestal and Hindi film music has been a rage with music buffs over the years.
