Delhi FM goes for Rs. 7.12 crore

Zee-backed New Media Broadcasting, the Times of India group’s parent company Bennett Coleman and Company, Reliance-promoted Observer Network and Living Media group are among the eleven companies awarded the licence to operate FM radio stations in Delhi at a fee of Rs. 7.12 crore.

ETC plans Rs. 60 crore funding

Entertainment Television Channel (ETC), is planning to pump in Rs 60 crore into operations over the next one year. The funds will be brought in by the promoters who hold 40 per cent of the equity.

Hallmark and Kermit to launch commercial stream in India

Hen Asia Pacific, Inc, is launching commercial streams in India, Taiwan and the Phillipines. In addition, Gregory Ang, formerly of Discovery Channel, has been appointed as vice president and director of Advertising Sales for HEN Asia Pacific, Inc to spearhead advertising sales efforts throughout the region.
