Rahul gets Mohini to his farmhouse. She tells him that her father Baba Kurnesh is missing. Since Mohini is hypnotised by the Nagin she mixes a drug in his coffee to make him unconscious and he faints. The Nagin comes and orders Mohini to remove the taveez from Rahul’s arm so she removes it and throws it into the fire. When the taveez get destroyed Baba Karnesh comes comes to know that his charismatic taveez has been burnt. He informs the Professor that the taveez has been destroyed and Rahul is in danger.

The Dhanao family is very much looking forward to celebrate holi. Suraj comes home and announces that the Deewan family is coming over to their house to celebrate holi. Deewan is a big name, it is a status symbol to have them come over to one’s house. The preparations begin in full swing. Finally on Holi day the Deewan family, all dressed in expensive whites will not allow anyone to put colour on them. Papaji is dismayed. He makes “thanda” and adds “bhaang” in it and serves it to the guests. The drink works and they let their hair down, they just freak out and play holi to the hilt. And after that they even eat like they never have eaten before. Suraj is worried when he learns of what Papaji did. But, the Deewan telephone and promise to come again the next year, on condition that Papaji makes “thanda”.

A doctor was paralysed due to illness and was bedridden. His wife, an anaesthetician was working, so she employed a 12 year old boy to take care of her husband. The boy realising that the doctor was very rich, he along with two other local friends strangle the doctor to death and fled with the loot. On investigating the boys were nabbed from a village in West Bengal. Other were punished but the 12 year old servant was set free. The doctor’s wife could not take this and committed suicide.

Kakooji is in the mood of Bhang. Everyone unfolds ones heart and speaks about their feelings. Sangeeta tells the others how she wished she would change the customs of the society.

Velvet Killers: In the first three months of 1998 there have already been over 100 reported snake bits in Costa Rica - just 50 under the total for all of last year. It is a veritable population explosion of snakes in the Central American nation - and people are the trigger.
Today only 18 per cent live on agricultural land compared to 78 per cent twenty-five years ago. This means abandoned farms are a windfall for rats and other small creatures who, in turn, are offering a furry feast for the snakes.
