MLTR, Spice Girls strike gold
The immenseley popular Danish band Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR) have tasted success yet again. Their latest album Nothing To Lose, released in December 1997 by Milestone Entertainment, has touched gold in just three months and it won’t be long before it goes platinum. The single from the album I’m gonna be around, featured in various countdown charts in India, while another single Nothing to lose is at no. 8 on Channel [V]’s India Top Ten.

The all-girl group from U.K., Spice Girls’ second album Spiceworld also recorded brisk sales, as a result of which it too turned gold in three months’ time in India. This album, released by Milestone, boasts of two U.K. No. 1 hits Spice up your life and Too much. Spice Girls, who are rated as the top band in the Billboard chart for 1997, are currently on tour in UK and Europe.
