Raj Joshi, AVA chief
The Association of Voice Artistes, a registered body, elected Raj Joshi as its president at its recent elections. Leela Ghosh and Surendra Bhatia are the vice presidents, Pradeep Bhide is general secretary, Shivraj Suvarna and Trilok Kapoor are joint secretaries and Rajesh Jolly is treasurer.

T-Series goes digital
Super Cassettes Industries have launched their new series of 3-disc changer VCD players, DVD players, VCD music systems and some old-time Hindi movies on DVD. These products are being manufactured in cooperation with Changhong Electric, the world’s single largest manufacturers of CTVs and VCD players.

Zubeida complete
FKR Productions’ Zubeida is complete, following a monthlong shoot at Pune, Panchgani and Mahableshwar. Produced by Farouq Rattonsey and directed by Shyam Benegal, the film stars Rekha, Karisma Kapoor, Manoj Bajpai and Rajat Kapoor and is based on story and screenplay by Khalid Mohammed.

Kurukshetra progresses
Choreographer Saroj Khan has picturised a song on Suman Ranganathan and action director Raam Shetty picturised some stunts for Time Movies’ Kurukshetra at Mehboob Studio, Mumbai. Produced by Pravin Shah, Dhirajlal Shah and Hasmukh Shah and directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Mahima Chowdhury.

Dreamers opens Valleyfest
Khodus Wadia’s Dreamers is the opening attraction at the prestigious Valleyfest Film Festival at Knoxville, USA, being held from March 9 to 12. The festival highlights films with a mature or controversial subject matter. The film is produced and directed by Khodus Wadia.
