Tutu’s Paanch is complete
Producer Tutu Sharma and writer-director Anurag Kashyap have completed the entire shooting of Paanch. Tutu Sharma is introducing Tejaswini Kolhapure as the leading lady in the film with Kay Kay. Aditya Srivastava, Pankaj Saraswat, Vijay Maurya and Joy Fernandes also play key roles. The film has music by Vishal Bhardwaj, cinematography by Natarajan Subramaniam, editing by Aarti Bajaj, art by Wasiq Khan, sound by Manas Choudhary and action by Amin Gani. The film is being presented by Padmini Tele Media Ltd.

Patchwork for Dhaar completed
A 2-day patch-work shooting for First Movie International’s Dhaar was completed on June 4 at Beach House, Madh Island and the entire shooting of the film is now complete. The film’s editing is almost complete and dubbing began on June 10 at Film City. The film is produced by Amit Chandra Sahay and directed by K. Chandra based on his own story. The film stars Sudesh Berry, Priyanka, Vishaaka Jhaveri, Rajeev Raaj, Pinky, new find Aman Jalali and Prithvi in the lead alongwith five more debutants, Ranjeet Roy Matthew, Bharat Kapil and Sumeet Chawla. The other major credits are cinematography by Dinesh K. Thakkar, action by M.S. Mani, art by Neelabh Tiwari and editing by Prakash Kothare.

Third song for Parwane recorded
Producer-director Deepak Bahry recorded the third song for Bahry Films’ Parwane on June 3 in the voice of Jaspinder Narula, Sarika Kapoor and Sabri Brothers at Sahara Recording Centre under the supervision of music director Sanjeev-Darshan. The song was penned by Sameer. Ajay Devgan and Amisha Patel have been paired together for the first time in the film, jointly written by Rajeev Kaul and Praful Parekh with dialogues by Anwar Khan. Cinematography by Damodar Naidu and art by Bijondas Gupta are the other major credits of the film. The film is scheduled to go on floors very soon.

Nitin Manmohan’s next
After Shool, producers Nitin Manmohan and Ramgopal Verma have once again joined hands to produce a multi-starrer. This is their second joint venture, being made under the banner of Dream Merchants Enterprise (yet untitled) under the direction of E. Niwas. The film went on the floors on June 9 with an initial 12-day spell in and around Mumbai. Saif Ali Khan, Suresh Bhagwat along with T. Bharani and Sudha (both from South) participated in the schedule. The film also stars Sonali Bendre in a leading role. Meanwhile, music director Vishal Bhardwaj has already recorded two songs, penned by Abbas Tyrewala at Satya Studio. The film has story-screenplay-dialogues by Rajnish Thakur, cinematography by Venkat Prasad, art by R. Verman and sound by Jagmohan Anand.

Aaghaaz in Hyderabad
After picturising two songs in Malaysia, producer Dr. D. Ramanaidu and debutant director Yogesh Ishwar are currently canning some major talkie portions for Suresh Productions’ Aaghaaz in a 14-day stint in Hyderabad, which commenced on June 12. The entire starcast is participating. The film stars Sunil Shetty, Sushmita Sen, Namrata Shirodkar, Anupam Kher, Gulshan Grover, Sharad Saxena, Johny Lever, Aloknath, Asha Sachdev, Padmini Kapila, Akshay Anand, Gobind Namdeo, Mukesh Tiwari, Anjan Srivastava, Shraddha Nigam, Dina Pathak, Asrani, Viju Khote, Yunus Tirandaz, Brij Gopal, Sanjay Swaraj, Shashi Kiran, Manoj Joshi, Ahsaan Khan and Suresh Oberoi with guest appearances by Sharad Kapoor and Saadhika. Music by Anu Malik, lyrics by Sameer, screenplay by Nikhil Saini, dialogues by Kamlesh Pandey, cinematography by Shyam K. Naidu, actions by Abbas Bhai, dances by Chinni Prakash and Ganesh Acharya and art by Sharmishtha Roy are the other credits.
