The
legendary jazzman Duke Ellington’s birth centenary is being commemorated
by none other than the king of easy listening with Tony Bennett Sings
Ellington, Hot & Cool. The album takes in some of Ellington’s most accessible
work, and features the Ralph Sharon Quartet, Wynton Marsalis and Al Grey.
Whitney Houston and George Michael have called off their 11-year-old
feud. They are putting the past behind them, conveniently enough, just

his business interests by investing in a new entertainment website, HollywoodTicket.com
which launches later this year and even though the amount has not been
disclosed its estimated Jackson has put up several million dollars.
After three years of being off the charts, the original boy band is to
make a comeback. Boyz II Men, who have sold over 60,000,000 albums
worldwide and were named singing group of the decade by Billboard magazine,
are to release their first single since, Pass You By in mid-June. The
ballad, written by Shawn Stockman and produced by the group, will set
the stage for the release of their much anticipated album titled, Nathan
Michael Shawn Wanya. This will be their first release from Universal Records
and will hit international racks in September 2000. While each group member
is still very young in age, Nathan Michael Shawn Wanya is said to reflect
the evolution of the group from literally being boys to becoming men!
