People's Verdict

*** Big hopes on Josh
*** Kya Kehna holds steady

Opening this week is the big star cast film, Josh which will decide Shah Rukh Khan’s position at the turnstile. There is no opposition this week for the film, apart from small budget films.

Hum To Mohabbat Karega
The film could not take off at the box-office, except in Mumbai where it registered 67 per cent collections in the first week. But in Delhi its collection was as low as 42 per cent, in Calcutta 48 per cent, in Lucknow 44 per cent, in Hyderabad 46 per cent and in Ahmedabad 51 per cent.

Kya Kehna
As expected the film is doing very well at the box-office every where and proving it is going to be a hit if it continues to maintain collections. In Mumbai it collected more than 80 per cent, 81 per cent in Ahmedabad, 95 per cent in Calcutta, 58 per cent in Delhi, 65 per cent in Nagpur and 67 per cent in Indore.

Jung
The film has failed to pick up even in the third week, and may be termed a low-grosser. In Mumbai it registered collections of 49 per cent, 30 per cent in Ahmedabad, 23 per cent in Pune, 24 per cent in Calcutta and 18 per cent in Hyderabad.

Chal Mere Bhai
In Mumbai it registered collections of 48 per cent in the fourth week, making it a losing proposition.

Hadh Kar Di Aapne
In its ninth week, the film collected 31 per cent in Mumbai.

Hera Pheri
In its ninth week, the film registered 67 per cent collections in Mumbai.

Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge
The film has been shifted to the matinee show in Mumbai, bringing collections to 73 per cent in the 11th week.

Kaho Naa... Pyar Hai
In its 20th week run in Mumbai, the film has done 53 per cent collections and is steady at all centres.
