Juhi Chawla in Malayalam film
Juhi Chawla is “doubly excited” about doing her first film in Malayalam, because she will be working with the two stalwarts of Malayalam cinema, Mammootty and Mohan Lal. The director who has pulled of this casting coup is Faazil. The unit starts shooting in Ooty this week.

Subhash Ghai opens new studio
Subhash Ghai’s new shooting, dubbing and post-production studio ‘Audeus’ was inaugurated on May 31. The studio which is centrally located on Link Road, Andheri (West) is commissioned with the latest State Of Art Aairfight MFX3 Plus Digital Audo Workstation. The entire premises including the shooting studio is air-conditioned.

Major Saab’s Amitabh’s next
Contrary to all expectations Amitabh Bachchan’s next release will be ABCL’s Major Saab and not KC Bokadia’s Lal Badshah. Directed by Tinnu Anand, Major Saab co-stars Ajay Devgan. Post-production work on the film is in progress.

Prabhu Deva in Telugu
After rejecting several offers Prabhu Deva has finally signed his first Telugu film, Lovestory 1999. Directed by K Raghavendra Rao, the film also stars Naveen, Ramya Krishna and Laila.
