force set-up to formulate aims for film council  Information and Broadcasting minister, Sushma Swaraj, appears to have meant what she said on May 10. Within weeks of her epoch-making meet with the filmfolk, when she granted industry status to the country’s filmdom, her ministry has set up a three-member commitee comprising K Topa, additional general secretary of FICCI, KD Shorey and Raghu Menon, joint secretary in the I&B ministry and managing director of the National Film Development Corporation, to prepare a comprehensive report identifying the issues to be tackled and recommended to the government, and the size, aims and objecives of the proposed Film Development Council. The task force will submit its report within three months.
