Maut
Ke Saudagar - nearing completion
Maharani Films’ Maut Ke Saudagar is nearing completion after a 15-days
shooting spell. During the schedule, the fight composer and editor turned
director Pappu Sharma picturised many dramatic, romantic and action scenes
at outdoor locations of Film City, National Highway and Esel Studios.
Joginder, Amit Pachori, Pinky Chinoy, Jack Gaud, Rani Sinha, Raahat, Amit
Kumar Dey, Apoorva Basu, Shrikant Chakraborty, Shyam Pandey and Poonam
Das Gupta participated in the schedule. The film has story-screenplay-dialogues
by Sheikh Abdul Hamid and Haider Azim, music by Dulal Sen Gupta and lyrics
by Arun Kumar Verma and Vimal Kashyap.
Yeh Nasha Hai Pyar Ka - launched
Hashmi Films international’s Yeh Nasha Hai Pyar Ka was launched recently
with the recording of two songs at Trio Digital Recording Centre. The
songs penned by Naqsh Layalpuri and composed by Anil Mazumdar were rendered
by Kumar Sanu, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Udit Narayan. The film being produced
by Yaqoob Hashmi and directed by Pawan Kumar, stars Ahmed Khan and Upma
Srivastav in romantic lead. Other cast and credits are being finalised
while the actual shooting will commence shortly.
Ladies Jail - complete
The entire shooting of Gola Brothers Productions’ Ladies Jail was
completed on July, 4 with a shooting spell held at Sandy Resort (Daman),
Swapna Nagari (Panvel), Basra Studio, Filmistan Studio and various locales
of Mumbai. Cinematograp-her-director Anil Dhanda canned the entire talkie
portion and two songs during the schedule. The film stars Moon Moon Sen,
Sudha Chandran, Upasana Singh, Pinky Chenoy, Sapna, Sohail Khan, Tej Sapru,
Yunus Parvez, Usha Singh, Ranee Sinha, Snehal, Bob Cristo, Black Billy,
Rahat Khan, Jenifer, Sahiba, Nilofer, Razzak Khan, Tom Alter, Gufi Paintal,
Deepak Shirke and Sadashiv Amrapurkar. Being produced by Gola Brothers,
it has story by Hyder Gola, dialogues by Sachindra Sharma, and music by
Kanak Raj. The post-production work of the film will start soon.
Krishna Tere Desh Mein - mixing started
The mixing of Ashwin Arts’ Krishna Tere Desh Mein started on July
6 at BR Theatre, Mumbai. The film stars Chetan, Shivani, Asrani, Upasana
Singh, Shiv Kumar, Raza Murad, Raju Srivastava, Poonam Das Gupta and Johny
Lever. Being produced-written-directed by Shiv Kumar, it has dialogues
by BS Thapa, cinematography by Vijay Indulkar, choreography by Bushan
Lakhandri and Krishna, actions by Aslam, editing by Omkar Bhakri and lyrics-music
by Ravindra Jain. The first copy of the film is expected shortly.
Gumnaam Qatil - towards first print
The editing of HS Films Gumnaam Qatil was completed on June 28 at Deep
Editing. The entire post production work will be completed in July and
the first print of the film is expected in the last week of July. The
film being written-produced-directed by Harinam Singh, stars Anjali Kolhapure,
Ajay Kumar, Madhuri Kale, Ghanshyam, Mehnaaz, Mahesh Raagi, Ramesh Goyel,
Yunus Parwaiz, Kishore Bhanushali, Birbal, Dev Malhotra, Manmaujee, Harinam
Singh and Johny Nirmal. The other major credits of the film are music
by S Prabhat, cinematography by Shyamal Chakraborty, dances by Ashok Roy
and editing by Pappu Sharma.
Khooni Ladki - editing progresses
The editing of HS Films Khooni Ladki began on June 29 at Deep Editing.
The film written-produced-directed by Harinam Singh, stars Anmol, Madhuri
Kale, Pooja, Farah, Fatima, Mahesh Raaj, Ramesh Goyal, Yunuz Parwaiz,
Kishore Bhanushali, Dev Malhotra, Wilson, Chander, Manmaujee, Harinam

by Shyamal Chakraborty, dances by Ashok Roy and editing by Pappu Sharma.
The film is due for release in August/September.
Main Qatil Hoon - to be launched
Parveen Productions’ maiden venture Main Qatil Hoon will be launched
shortly in Mumbai with a five-day shooting stint. Being produced by Mehmooda
Shaikh, it is based on a story by director Dinesh Rai Bichhand. The cast
and other credits are yet to be finalised.
Bedaag - progresses
Writer-producer and director Qamar Kashmiri held a five-day shooting stint
of Pick Up The World Film’s Bedaag from July 8 till 12 in Surat wherein
a song and the climax scenes were picturised on newfind Arpita, Amar Betaab
and many newcomers. The film was also shot recently in Hyderabad. Cinematography
by Omee Behl, lyrics by Naqsh Lyallpuri, Qamar Kashmiri and Kanwar Zaman,
music by Nazma, sound by Kailashnath, art by Hitesh Desai and editing
by Satyaprakash Suri are the major credits.Laal Joda - due on July 28
The first print of Vaishnav Pictures’ Laal Joda was out on June 30
and the film is being readied for a release on July, 28 all over. The
film, being produced by Chandni Gupta and written-directed by Sunny Kapoor,
stars Lalitesh, Yamini, Vijay Gupta, Rakesh Pandey, Shakti Singh, Ramesh
Goel, Anirudh Agarwal, Anil Khan, Vinod Tripathi, Shiva and Chandni Gupta.
The film has lyrics by Muzaffar Rampuri, music by Sourabh, cinematography
by Shyamal Chakraborty, dances by Naresh Sharma, actions by Yasin Lala
and editing by Prakash Kothare. It is presented by Khazanchi Gupta.
Bad Boys - due in August
Producer Jatin Kumar and debutante director Vicky Kumar are on with the
post-production work of Vinayak Films’ Bad Boys in full swing at
Rang Editing Room and dubbing at BR Theatre since June 23. Raakhi Sawant,
Himanshu, Sikander, Amit and Anay Hemant Pande completed their dubbng.
The film also stars Vidya Sinha, Razzak Khan, Avtar Gill, Shehzad Khan,
Mac Mohan, Harish Patel, Sanjay Garodia, Brij Gopal, Suresh Chatwal, Sudhir,
Jaya Mathur, Aanchal Malhotra, Mohan Joshi, Mukesh Rishi, Kiran Kumar
and Gulshan Grover. The first print of the film is expected on July 15

Final editing of Vaishnav Pictures Bindiya Maange Bandook was held from
June 10 at Prakash Kothare’s editing room. The film is complete except
for a day’s patchwork. Being produced by Chandni Gupta and written-directed
by Sunny Kapoor, it stars Mohan Joshi, Kiran Kumar, Raza Murad, Pinky
Chinoi, Joginder, Anil Nagrath, Suresh Chatwal, Lalitesh, Satnam Kaur,
Sapna, Vijay and Chandni Gupta. Cinematography by Shyamal Chakravorty,
music by Rakesh Mishra, actions by Yasin Lala and editing by Prakash Kothare
are the other major credits. The film is presented by Khazanchi Gupta.
Aashiq Hatyara - complete
Director K Shivraam completed the entire shooting of Jeet Productions’
Aashiq Hatyara on June 19 at Pampess Bungalow and other locales of Mumbai
featuring the entire cast. Starring Jay Thakur, Rajiv Raj, Aman Sagar,
Amit Kapoor, Sohail Khan, Purohit Kohli, Rashmee Verma, Preeti Patil,
Aparna Bera, Poonam Tripathi, Birbal, Kishore Bhanushali, Junior Mehmood,
Abid, Sudhir, Mac Mohan, Jayshree T., Rana Jung Bahadur, Goga Kapoor and
Kiran Kumar, the film is jointly produced by Ranjeet Singh, Harish Marwah

Khooni Bistar - complete
The last shooting stint of Kumar Mangalam Films’ Khooni Bistar was
completed on June 22 at Esel Studios, Film City, MB Studios and other
locales of Mumbai. Director Tilak Raaj picturised two songs, many romantic
and action scenes on Anmol, Raajev Raaj, Dr. Kumar, Raza Murad, Anil Nagrath,
Shiva Mahesh Raaj, Pooja, Kishore Bhanushali, Bobby Khan, Noor Khan, Siddharth,
Nisha, Mahendra Sharma and Jay Kalgutkar. The entire shooting of the film
is now complete. The film being produced by Dr. Kumar and Pradeep Agarwal,
has story-screenplay by Pradeep Agarwal, dialogues by Baldev Prasad, music
by Nagendra-Santosh, lyrics by Pradeep Agarwal-Dr. Kumar, sounds by Javed
Khan, actions by Darshan Singh and art by Indrajeet Singh.
Mahesh Raaj signed
Mahesh Raaj has been signed to play key roles in Shakaal International’s
Goli Aur Gunda, being produced and directed by Shakaal Shetty and Nishu
Arts’ Daaku Maharani, being produced by Vinod Jain and directed by
Teerath Singh. He is also been added to the cast of Cine Deep’s Ek
Raaz Mere Dil Mein Hain, being produced and directed by Surinder Malhotra.
Prem Path- first print out
The first print of Sanjog Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.’s Prem Path is out
from Prasad Labs, Madras. The film being produced by Shivraj Patil and
directed by Shivamani, stars Shashi Kumar, Sudranani and Wajramani (from

A further five-day shooting stint for Divya Enterprises’ Jeene Nahin

Anu Kashyap, Ishrat Ali, Dinesh Hingoo, Kaushal Kapoor, Mahaveer Shah,
Vicky Mehra, Yogee, Amit Sharma, Ladoo Jain, Prabhat Singh, Deepak Shirke,
Pinki Chini and Harish Patil participated in the schedule.

Tadap
Sunny Kapoor has been signed to direct Aaghaz Movies’ Tadap,
being produced by Fahim Khan. The film stars newfinds Menshe, Bindu Kamat,
Shariq Khan, Anil S Tripathi, Faiz Khan, Altamash and Asmita Rao. Written
by Babloo Khan, it has music by Vishnuraj-Jayant, cinematography by Bhanwarlal
Verma, and lyrics by Tauseef. The film will go on the floors on July 30
with the recording of three songs at Techno Sounds.
Dhaar
A two-day final patchwork shooting stint for First Movie International’s
Dhaar was held on July 7 and 8 at GCC, Mira Road and on Mumbai locales
featuring Sudesh Berry, Priyanka, Aman Jalali, Vishaaks Jhaveri, Prithvi,
Rajni, Joy Mathew, Bharat Kapoor, Brij Gopal, Ramesh Goyal and Mahaveer
Shah. Being produced by Amit Chandra Sahay and directed by S Chandra,
it has cinematography by Dinesh K Thakkar.
Bhayanak Toofani Raat
A two-day final shooting stint of Maa Uma Films’ Bhayanak
Toofani Raat was completed on July 2 and 7 at Film City and Patel Wadi,
Madh Island. The final editing of the film was completed on July 12 at
Deep Editing and the mixing of final sound-tracks will begin on July 17
at Film City. Being readied for August/ September release, the film is
produced by Kiran Thakkar, cinematographed and directed by Dinesh K Thakkar
and presented by RM Mishra. Starring Shakti Kapoor, Rajeev Raaj, Vijay
Solanki, Rani Sinha, Hema, Divya, Neelam, Brij Gopal, Ramesh Goyal Birbal,

Dubbing of JJ Films’ Aao Bhaag Chalen was completed on July 12 at
Kohli Dubbing Theatre. Mixing of final sound tracks will be held shortly
and the first print will be out in the last week of July. Being produced
by Jasbir Singh Khurana and directed by Prakash Kapoor, it stars Ajay
Kumar, Tushima, Aarif Khan, Malashree, Vivek Shauq, Alok Nath, Reema,
Ashok Saraf, Neelima Pandharkar, Faiyaz, Kishore, Sudhir Dalvi, Vaishali,
Pankaj Berry, Deepak Parasher and Sadashiv Amrapurkar. Written by Akhtar
Romani who has also penned the lyrics, the film has music by Dilip Sen-Sameer
Sen and Pappu Pawan, cinematography by Shashi and Kshatriya, dances by
Chhaya Mahadik, Willy and Mahesh Kumar, action by Surjeet Chaser, sound
by Harbana Singh and editing by Pappu Phalwinder. Mintoo Khurana is the

Dubbing of Star International’s Main Jyoti Tu Jwala began
on July 7 at Studio Ablaze. The film, being readied for September release,
