Champion complete
Producer Sujit Kumar completed a six-day shooting schedule of Shri Shiv Bhakti Films’ Champion recently at Khoja Bungalow (Versova) and other Mumbai locales. All the important patchwork scenes involving Manisha Koirala and Rahul Dev were picturised during the schedule. Meanwhile, the post production work of the film commenced and the editing going on in full swing at Empire Studio.

The film also stars Sunny Deol in the title role alongwith Kashmira Shah, Vikram Gokhale, Surendra Pal, Tom Alter, AK Hangal, Anil Nagrath, Dina Pathak, Abhishek, Neha Sharad, Rakesh Pandey, Kewalia, Jassi, Hardeep, Jasmit, Baby Tanvi, Rana Jung Bahadur and Deepak Parashar.

The film, being directed by Padam Kumar, has cinematography by Thiru, dialogues by Sanjay Masoom, actions by Tinu Varma, choreography by Ahmed Khan-Raju Sunderam, lyrics by Javed Akhtar and music by Anu Malik. The film is set for a release all
over in September, 2000.

Yeh Dil Aashiqana rolls
AK International’s Yeh Dil Aashiqana rolls with a ten-day shooting spell from July 5 at a huge set erected at Famous Tardeo. A stage song is being picturised on a new romantic pair with 20 male and female models and a crowd of above 500 under the supervision of choreographer Farah Khan. Being produced by Aroona Irani and directed by Kuku Kohli, the film has cinematography by Laxminarayan, lyrics by Sameer and music by Nadeem-Shravan.

Parwana
Producer-director Deepak Bahry has signed Sayaji Rao Shinde, Paresh Rawal, Kader Khan and Danny Denzongpa to play the negative roles in his Bahry Films’ Parwana. The film also stars Ajay Devgan and Amisha Patel in the lead, paired together for the first time. Being written by Rajeev Kaul and Praful Parekh, the film has dialogue by Anwar Khan, cinematography by Damodar Naidu, art by Bijondas Gupta, lyrics by Sameer and music by Sanjeev-Darshan. Imran Galani and Binu Sen Gupta are the production executives. The film will go before the camera in August.
