The
copyright battle over the serials, Dastaan and Chattan between Asia Today
Limited (ATL), the broadcaster of Zee TV, and Sony Entertainment Television,
Singapore (SET Singapore), came up for hearing before Hon’ble Justice,
Mr. Y.S. Jahagirdar in the Mumbai High Court.
Mr. Iqbal Chagla, senior counsel for Zee TV, submitted before the court that there was a deliberate attempt on Sony’s part to hijack the two high-profile serials, the copyright of which belonged to his clients, Zee TV. |
