February 6, 12 pm
Kasim is praying in his house. Dakoda, the agent of the Evil King of Darkness, Killwish, enters Kasims’ house. He sees the portrait of Ranjit Singh that Kasim had painted and takes on Ranjit Singh’s form.

Kasim finishes his prayer and sees Ranjit Singh (actually Dakoda) standing besides the painting. He is delighted. Kasim informs Ranjit Singh that he had painted this portrait for Shaktimaan to enable him to discover his past. He also tells Ranjit Singh that his son, Shaktimaan, stands for truth and is always in the forefront in the battle against Evil Darkness.

But, Ranjit Singh (Dakoda) states otherwise. He tells Kasim that Shaktimaan is a demon and his aim is to spread Evil Darkness. Kasim is surprised. Ranjit Singh then ignites the portrait, sees Kasim on fire and walks out. He then sets the house ablaze. Kasim dies, but his wife and children manage to escape. People in the neighbourhood try to stop the fire, but to no avail.

Gangadhar and Nisha arrive at the scene. They find Kasim’s house ablaze. Some journalists quiz Kasim’s wife. She states that Shaktimaan’s father, Ranjit Singh set her husband on fire and killed him. Gangadhar is shocked. He then reads the message that Ranjit Singh had left behind. “Shaktimaan is my son, the son of a demon. His aim is to spread evil darkness in the universe. Until and unless he becomes the agent of the Evil King of Darkness, Killwish, I will continue setting the city on fire!” Gangadhar cannot believe his eyes.
