Aditya in Guru Mahaguru

Aditya Pancholi has been signed to play one of the lead roles in PK Arts’ Creations’ Guru Mahaguru. One more top hero and two top herines will be finalised soon. The film is being produced by Alok Shrivastava and is cinematographed and directed by Ashok Jamuar. Regular shooting for the film will commence soon.

5-day stint for Mera Saya

Director Dharam recently completed a five-day shooting stint of Mera Saya at Essel Studios, Mohini Bungalow and Madh Island featuring Prithvi, Nayan Aishni, Sudhir, Shajaad, Biswajeet and Jaya Mathur in dramatic, emotional and other scenes. Two songs were also canned by dance director Oscar. Being produced by Mohiuddin, the film is written by Suroor Lakhnavi and has music by Ghulam Ali and action by Maqsood Patel.

Boond in Mumbai

A 15-day marathon shooting spell for Sai Farhad Art Presentations’ Boond will commence from January 22 at various locales of Mumbai. The film stars Siddharth Dhawan, Mumtaz, Navin Berri, Punkaj Berri, Premkiran, Mulraj Rajda, Ankush Mohit, Anuradha Sawant, Madhav Sudhir, Gholap, Juneed, Sajana, Jyoti, Suresh Shankar, Javed, Bobby Saini, Harish Patel and Mohan Joshi. Written and produced by Jaanam Khan, it is being directed by Inayat Sheikh. Screenplay and dialogue by Asad Ajmeri and music by Rajendra Liyakat are the major credits.

Awara Dil

AK Enterprises’ Awara Dil completed a seven-day shooting spell at Chandivili Studios, Manish bungalow and various Mumbai locales wherein important dramatic and climax scenes were canned. The film stars Kuber Laila Raza, Sandhya Mehra, Sohil Khan, Sudhir Dalvi, Arun Mathur, Asha Ghoplekar and Shakti Kapoor. Being written and produced by Afzal A Khan, it has screenplay and direction by B Prasad, dialogue by Sami Javed and cinematography by Ravikant Reddy.

Aakhiri Pratigya

A ten-day shooting spell for Bhagwati Maa Produc-tions’ Aakhiri Pratigyaa was held at Mumbai wherein writer-director TLV Prasad canned many important dramatic and action scenes on Mithun Chakraborty, Ravali, Jack Gaud, Mohan Joshi, Ishrat Ali, Raju Shrivastava, Johny Lever, Pramod Moutho, Shiva, Razak Khan, newfind Juhi Patel and Puneet. Being produced by Sunita Gaur, it has dialogue by Syed Sultan, cinematography by KV Ramanna, action by Rambo Rajkumar and music by Babu Kishan.

Dil To Aashiq Hai

AK Films (Chennai) Presentations’ Dil To Aashiq Hai is to be launched with a seven-day initial shooting in Chennai and Mumbai during the last week of January. Written and directed by Inayat Sheikh, it has screenplay and dialogue by Asad Ajmeri. One top star is yet to be finalised.

Tum Se Pyar Ho Gaya

Choreographer Sagar Sarkar and director Vinay A Laad canned a song on Ravi Kissen, Pooja Dadwal, Ashish Kumar Singh, Yamini, Anjana Mumtaz, Sikandar Khan and Biswajeet at Film City for Ram Chandra Productions’ Tumse Pyar Ho Gaya. Being produced by Nirmal Kumar Singh and written by Imtiaz Patel, the film has music by Bappi Lahiri, lyrics by Nawab Arzoo, cinematography by Unmesh Kabre, choreography by Subal Sarkar, art by Manohar Patil, sound by Chhotubhai and editing by TR Mangeshkar. The last schedule of the film will commence in February.

Mandi takes off

A seven-day stint for Rubal Films International Presentations’ Mandi was held at Film City and various locales of Mumbai wherein producer-writer and director Narinder Garewal canned emotional and dramatic scenes on Sheetal Bedi, Aman Randhawa, Shiva, Mahesh Gupta, Rajnibala, Naresh Sharma, Sahiba, Johny Lever and Mohan Joshi. Cinematography by Hasmukh Rajput, action by Kala Singh, lyris by Tirlok Singh Komal, music by Ajay Kapoor are the other major credits. Another major shooting schedule will be held in Mumbai during the last week of January.

Bad Boys launched

Vinayak Films’ Bad Boys was launched on January 11 at Sudhakar Bokade’s Bungalow. Shakti Kapoor sounded the clap while the camera was switched on by ZA Johar. The film introduces top model Sikandar and stars Ruby Sawant, Himan-shu, Lokesh, Hemant Pandey, Cezanne Khan, Mukesh Rishi, Mohan Joshi, Shakti Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Saurabh Shukla, Shehzaad Khan, Razzak Khan, Dinesh Hingoo and Ishrat Ali. Being produced by Jatin Kumar and directed by Vicky Kumar, it has cinematography by Akram Khan, music by Dilip Sen-Sameer Sen, story by Salim Raza, lyrics by Sameer, art by Pappu, editing by Om Prakash Makkar and sound by Bhatia.

31st December launched

Ramesh Thackeray sounded the clap for director Ved Prakash Dev’s 31st December which was launched at Sudhir Bungalow, Mumbai on December 31, 1998. Many romantic and dramatic scenes were picturised on Sima Siddhu, Sandeep, Mac Mohan, , Anil Nagrath, Raju Gautam and Sudhir. Being made under the banner of Visual Pictures Darshan, the film also stars Upasna Singh, Ali Khan, Shiva, Raza Murad, Mahesh Raj, Manmouji, Gagan Sharma and Sikander Khan in important roles. Music by Sanjay Sharma, lyrics by Rafeeque Shervani and Updesh Khanna, action by Gabbar Singh, art by Dinesh Chaubey and cinematography by Aroop Hazra are the other credits.

Play House

Producer Parvez Alam Qureshi has signed Joy Thakur to play the male lead in Parvez Films Corpora-tions’ maiden venture Play House to be directed by Prakash Bhantu. Jatin Shyam provides the music, cinematography by Lenin Javies and action by akber Sharif are the other credits. The rest of the cast and credits are being finalised.

Hamara Faisla

Producer Sheela and director Jeetendra Johri held a two-day stint for Swaroop Pictures’ Hamara Faisla at Essel Studios wherein a song was picturised on Ravi Kissen, Mohan Joshi, Shashi Chawala, Jaya Mathur, Razzak Khan and dancers. Ashok Rao is the cinematographer and Meera Raju is the choreographer.

Oh My Love

Actress-producer Chandani Gupta completed the entire editing of Sachi Arts’ maiden venture Oh My Love at Deep Editing Room, Mumbai. The film stars Prithvi, Sapna, Amit Chaddha, Shiva, Kishore Bhanushali, Birbal, Urvashi and Chandani Gupta. Written by Manoj Sinha, it has music by Sawan Kumar.

Qatil Ghungroo

Cratu Entertainment Executives’ Qatil Ghungroo is nearing completion after a five-day shooting spell held at Basra Studio, Kandivli. Being written and directed by Atul Gupta, the film has Raju Thakur, Meghna Desai, Hitesh, Kalpana Iyer, Pramod Moutho, Praful Rana, Raksha Raghwan, Sanjiv, Barjinder and Deepak Shirke. Cinematography by Chetan Manjrekar and dances by Nihal Singh.

Mohini launched

Produer Nirmala Paul has launched RN Films’ Mohini with the recording of four songs. The shooting of the film will commence from January 26. Being written and directed by Rajesh Mittal, the film stars Jyoti Roy, Manish, Rajesh Puri, Anil Dhawan, Aradhana, Bharti Kapoor, Ranjeet, Manmauji, Birbal, Girja Shankar, Ali Khan and Dinesh Hingoo.
