Gulzar to direct serial based on A Suitable Boy for Doordarshan
Celebrated film and television series director
Gulzar will be directing a 104-episode mega serial based on the major
Indo-Anglian novel A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth. According to sources in
Mandi House, a final round of negotiations with Vikram Seth for the television
rights of the novel was recently completed.

Bollywood For You (B4U) is launching a music channel
by the middle of this year at an investment of $40 million. The promoters,
LN Mittal, Gokul Binani and Kishore Lulla, have earmarked a total media
investment of $100 million.
