The second seven-day schedule of Titwal Filmwala’s Aaya Toofan completed on January 6 at National Park and other locales of Mumbai wherein a song and many action scenes were picturised. The film stars Mithun Chakraborty, Aditya Pancholi, Mallika, Sheetal Bedi, Ravi Kissan, Manwi Goswami, Hemant Birje, Deepen Vartak, Tej Sapru, Mahesh Agarwal, Kashmira Shah and Gulshan Grover. Being produced by Rishikesh Dharisinha and directed by Deepak Balraj Vij it has music by Bappi Lahiri, lyrics by Sameer, story by Miraq Mirza, cinematography by Sanjay Malvankar and action by Akbar Sharif.

Madam Don

The entire post-production of DIP Films’ Madam Don commenced recently in Mumbai. The film stars Kalyani Thakkar, Vijay Solanki, Sanjay Singh, Rajni, Hina, Pramod Moutho, Aswin Kaushal, Shakti Kapoor and Usha Vachani. Being produced by Madhav Purohit and written and directed by RK Joshi, it has dialogue by Adesh K Arjun, choreography by Habiba Rehman, cinematography by Chandu, action by Johny Baboo, art by R Chandra and music by Nitin Kumar.

Vishwanath on floors

Shivshakti Combines Presentation s’ Vishwanath is go on floors with a seven-day initial shooting spell at Ooty shortly. Mithun Chakraborty is playing the lead role. The film is directed by TLV Prasad for producers Jayant B Shah and Kirti Umraliya. Other cast and credits are being finalised.

Balidaan unit return

With the completion of a recent ten-day shooting spell of Roopvati Pictures and Surendra Bohra’s Balidaan, the entire unit is back from Chennai. Writer-director Ganpati Bohra canned two songs and many important talkie portion during this spell. Mithun Chakraborty, Revli, Mukesh Rishi, Ali Khan, Johnny Lever, Shiva, Aswin Kaushal, Razzak Khan, Pinky Chinoy, Gulshan Grover, Jack Gaud, Qasim Ali, Raza Murad and Sadashiv Amrapurkar play key roles in the film that is produced by Sunil Bohra. Dialogue by Adesh K Arjun, cinematography by Ram Krishna and action by Rambo Raj Kumar are the other major credits.

Dil Mein Chupa Loonga

Sai Farhaad Arts’ Dil Mein Chupa Loonga is to be launched with grand muhurat ceremony by Jaanam Khan. Starcast and credit will be finalised very soon.

Dahshat in February

Roopvati Pictures Combine and Ganpati Bohra’s Dahshat will go on floors in February 1999 with a start to finish shooting schedule at Mount Abu and Mumbai. The film, being made in four languages (Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu) is being produced by Sunil Bohra. It has story, screenplay and direction by Ganpati Bohra, music by Bappi Lahiri, dialogue by Adesh K Arjun, cinematography by Ram Krishna are the other major credits.

Qatil Ghunghroo

Cratu Intertainment Executives’ Qatil Ghuhghroo was shot for three days in Kandivili wherein a song and many dramatic, romantic and action scenes were filmed on Raju Thakar, Meghna Desai, Hitesh Devyani, Kalpana Iyer, Pramod Moutho, Praful Rana, Raksha Ragwan, Sanjiv, Barjinder and Deepak Shirke. Being directed by Atul Gupte, it has cinematography by Chetan Manjarekar and choreography by Nihal Singh and David. After this, the film will be complete

Ma Kasam

After a 15-day shooting schedule held in Ooty, the unit of Ma Kasam are back in Mumbai. During this, two songs and some scenes were picturised on the entire starcast comprising Mithun Chakraborty, Mink, Salim Ghouse, Veeru Krishan, Brij Gopal, Siddharth, Asrani and Gulshan Grover. Being produced by Rajiv Babbar and directed by Ashok Gaikwad, the film has story, screenplay and dialogue by Iqbal Durrani, lyrics by Sameer, music by Anand-Milind, cinematography by KV Ramanna, choreography by Rekha Chinni Prakash and action by Rambo Rajkumar.

500 Ka Note

Producer Suresh Chawdhary is making an women-oriented film titled 500 Ka Note which is written and directed by Manmohan. Music director Utpal Biswas recorded all the seven songs, penned by Sabir. The cast and credits are under finalisation. Anthony Sabastion is the co-producer of the film.

S Pappu is currently editing Dolly Arts’ Ek Aur Chakravyuha at KB Editing Room. The film, starring Boorjis, Raymon Singh, Ali Khan, Geeta Nishaad, Shiva, Mohan Kant, Birbal, Kiran Jain, Roshni, Kishore Bhanushali and lookalikes of Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Prem Chopra alongwith Sartaj Jaipuri and Jay Kalgutkar, is now complete. Produced by Krishna-kant Sawarkar, it is written and directed by KB Tilak.

Dal - The Gang

SM International’s Dal - The Gang will be launched with the recording of two songs on January 15-16 at AB Sounds. Penned by Sudhakar Sharma, it has music by Shyam Sunder. Being produced by Sanjay Thakur and directed by Vicky Ranawat, it has story by Neeraj-Vikram, screenplay, dialogue by Arvind-Arjun, cinematography by S Pappu, choreography by Ganesh Acharya, action by Heera Singh, editing by Kuckoo-Cuckoo. Suresh Oberoi plays a major role in the film.

Hello Hyderabad

The editing work of BNC Movies’ Hello Hyderabad commenced from January 6 in Hyderabad. The entire post-production work of the film will now be completed and the first print will be out in February. Produced by Sayeed Hameed and BN Tiwari it is being directed, edited by BN Tiwari. Music is by Ahmed-Mahendra. The film which stars newcomers was shot in a non-stop 31-day shooting schedule on Hyderabad locales.

KB Tilak to direct Baap

YD Productions’ have announ-ced their maiden venture titled Baap which is being written and directed by KB Tilak. The film introduces Sandeep Bose in the lead while another top star is being finalised. The first song was recorded at Rajesh Singh Studio. Penned by Yakoob Syayamvar, it was rendered by Vinod Rathod and Sona Bala. The film has music by Rakesh Trivedi, story by YD, cinematography by Hari Roy, action by Jay Singh, art by Asad Khan and editing by S Pappu.

Bedaag

Music director Surendra Kumar recently recorded the fifth song for Pick Up The World Films’ Bedaag at Line-In Recording Theatre. Penned by Qamar Kashmiri and Surendra Kumar, it was rendered by Kavita Krishnamurty. The film is written, produced and directed by Qamar Kashmiri. The cast and credits are yet to be finalised.

Insaf Main Karoonga

Aniket Internationals’ have announced their maiden venture titled Insaf Main Karoonga to be directed by Hamid Ali Khan. The film is being produced by Mrs Manisha and has story by Meeraq Mirza. Other cast and credits are yet to be finalised.

Nai Manzil Nai Raahen

Barring a song, the entire shooting of Kshitij Films’ Nai Manzil Nai Raahen is now complete.The song will soon be picturised in Mumbai by choreographer Madhav Kishan. Being written and directed by SN Azhar for producer Jamila Aziz, it stars Vikram Gokhale, Neelima Azim, Subbiraj, Chandrashekhar, Birbal and Preeti Kataria. Story by Abdul Aziz, lyrics by Hasan Kamaal, Jameel, Mujaheed and Hifazat Khandvi and music by Surendra Kohli, Shreerang Aras and Munnawar Ali. Songs for the film were rendered by Mahendra Kapo-or, Shabbir Kumar, Mohd. Aziz, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Anuradha Paudwal and Saira Khan.

The film also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Saadh-ika and newfind Menak and Kiran Kumar, Anjana Mumtaz, Amita Nangia, Jack Gaud, Manish Wadhawa, Vinod Tripathi, Poonam-das Gupta, and Mohan Joshi. Shaitan Shaher Mein

Producer Husn Ara has signed Sanam Khan and Rashid Khan to play important roles in Gopal Pictures’ Shaitan Shaher Mein which is directed by SU Sayyed. The film introduces Naseer Khan in the lead role. Sona Bala who has written the story as well as rendered the songs with Mohd. Aziz also plays an important role.
