Bahke Kadam

All the songs of Om Namah Shivay Films’ Bahke Kadam were recorded recently at KK Sound. Penned by Dilip Tahir and Satish Shukla and composed by music directors Shibu, Pintoo and Dilip Tahir, the songs were rendered by Sadhna Sargam, Chandrakant Dixit, Vibha Sharma, and Babul Supriyo. Being produced by Robin Ghai and directed by K Shivam, it has story by Dinesh Prabhakaran and cinematography by Dilip Dey. Regular shooting of the film will commence soon.

AB launched

Anju Films Presentations’ maiden venture titled AB was launched on January 28 with the recording of a song at Sunny Super Sound, Mumbai. Composed by music director Bappi Lahiri and penned by Anwar Sagar, it was rendered by Altaf Raja. The film stars Mithun Chakraborty in the lead role while two top heroes and two more top heroines are yet to be finalised. Being directed by KR Reddy for producers A Gafoor Khan and Anwar Sagar, it has story and screenplay by S Khan and dialogue by Anwar Khan. The film will go on floors in the last week of February in Ooty.

Vishwanath

A seven-day shooting spell for Shivshakti Combine Presentatons’ Vishwanath was held in Mumbai from January 16. While Mithun Chakraborty is playing the title role, the other cast is yet to be finalised. Produced by Jayant B Shah and Kirti Umarliya and directed by TLV Prasad, the film has story-screenplay by S Khan, music by Bappi Lahiri and lyrics by Anwar Sagar.

Mera Intquam

A background song and some dramatic scenes were picturised on the entire starcast of Visions’ Mera Intquam during a two-day stint on various locales of Mumbai recently featuring Sheeba and Vishal Khanna alongwith junior artists. This was followed by another two-day spell at Essel Studios in the first week of February. Written and directed by Manmohan, the film also stars Tinnu Anand, Rekha Rao, Amita Nangia, Vivek Vaswani, Raza Murad, Chandrashekhar, Anil Nagrath, Mac Mohan and Ravi Kissen. Music by Utpal Biswas, story by Mrs Sudesh, lyrics by Sabir, cinematography by Rajinder Sharma are the other credits. The shooting of the film is expected to be completed by the end of April.

Aaj Ka Nanha Farishta

The negative cutting ceremony of Monang Film’s Aaj Ka Nanha Farishta was performed by Bharti Ben Barot on January 29. Being directed by Pratap Barot, the film stars Raj Devgan, Asha Mehra, Master Omkar Kapoor, Sujata Mehta, Ishrat Ali, Shiva and Raj Babbar in key roles. Being presented by Ramesh Shah, it has music by Babla Shah and lyrics by Sameer and Sikander Bharti.

Kahani Kismat Ki

The first copy of producer Surendra Srivastav and Suchitra Films Enterprises’ Kahani Kismat Ki is out of Gemini Lab, Chennai. Starring Mithun Chakraborty, Milind Gunaji, Sharad Kapoor, Ayesha Julka, Roma, Shama Deshpande, Laxmikant Berde, Raju Shresta, Anil Nagrath, Asha Brajesh and Mohan Joshi with Nagma in a special role, the film is directed by Farogh Siddiqu. Dialogue by Seema Kapoor, cinematography by Teja, action by Masood Patel, choreography by Nadeem Khan and music by Dilip Sen-Sameer Sen and Shaheen are the other credits. Pritam Singh presents the film.

Swarg Yahin Hai

Writer-producer-director Rajni-kant Kataria launched Kataria Creations’ Swarga Yahin Hai on February 1 followed by a five-day shooting spell at Mohini Villa, Mumbai. The film stars Manoj Dutt, Kalyani, Siddharth, Shikha, Sachin Vaidya, Reshma, Ranjan Thakur, Rashmi Verma, Prem Kumar, Chitra Koppikar, Brij Rasiya, Usha Raj, S Prasad, Charuta, Asha Sathe, Madhavi, Jyoti, Master Darshan, Kulbir Baderson, Ishque Raza, Sunila Gore, Asha Singh and Birbal. Cinematography is by FR Khan, music by Vinay Raj, lyrics by Qamar Hajipuri and Priya Rajwada, choreography by Anis Khan and art by Tushar Gupta are the other credits. M Arif and Shatrughan Goswamy are the associate directors.

Bewafa Tune Yeh Kya Kiya

The final spell of United Fives’ Bewafa Tune Yeh Kya Kiya is currently on at Manor Village, Palghar wherein a song, dance and climax scenes are being canned on the entire starcast comprising Manish Wadhwa, Ruhi Sawant, Vinod Vata, Rohit Bhatia, Alok Sharad, Rajnibala, Girija Shankar, DP Sharma, Pradeep Vashisth, Anchal Malhotra and Ranjeet. Being produced by Bokul Balal, Harish Parekh and Rajan Thomas, it is written and directed by Rajan Thomas. Music by Tapas-Babun, cinematography by Manish K Vyas, dialogue by Babu Qureshi, lyrics by Satish Tiwari, action by Suresh Rao, choreography by Prakash and editing by Prakash Kothare are the major credits. Vishwanath Pramanik is the co-producer.
