Bappi with Boy GeorgeBritish pop singer Boy George is singing and acting in Bappi Lahiri’s film titled Love Story ’98. Lahiri managed to rope in Boy George to do a cameo appearance as leading man Siddharth Koirala’s friend. The scenes with Boy George were shot in London from January 1 to January 10. Apache Indian, who made waves sometime back with his bhangra-pop numbers, and his album Arranged Marriage, also sang a rap number, which will be picturised on him and a leading Indian heroine.

Lahiri, who has composed music for more than 450 Bappi with Apache Indianfilms in 25 years, is now producing films. His Bengali film Lal Darja won the National award for the best film. He is quite excited about Love Story ’98 which is nearing completion.
