Mink
MINK German-born Mink is the surprise package of ABCL’s latest release, Saat Rang Ke Sapne. And though she is disappointed at the length of her role, she is thrilled at being chosen for an ABCL film. The petite beauty still hasn't managed to shrug off the label of ’newcomer’, but she is by no means new to the industry. At 13 she was one of Dev Anand’s discoveries and was signed on for a three film package. She has already done two, Pyar Ka Tarana and Gangster. Having gone from one prestigious banner to another, Mink thinks there is no reason why her career shouldn’t take off soon. And though she feels she has already waited too long to hit the big time, she exudes great confidence about her talent. “Everything in my career has happened by chance,” she says, in a disbelieving voice. If she hadn’t received the offer from ABCL she might well have gone back to Germany. But now there is no chance of that. Though she’s lived in Germany for most of her life, Mink loves Mumbai, and is sure she is here to stay
