 All the political parties, from the hundred-year-old Congress to the ten-year-old BJP, and the barely two-month-old Lok Shakti, have announced their manifestoes for the coming elections. But not one party has anything to offer to the Indian film industry, the biggest entertainment industry in the world, the biggest source of entertainment for the masses (even politics comes second) and a major source of tax revenue.
