Ke Sapne. Thats her latest release. And as the title suggests, it is
an Eastmancolor dream. A splash of golden sunsets, scarlet turbans, swirling
ghagras in indigos and oranges and twirling dupattas dyed in violet and green.
Rainbow hues set against the monochromatic desert sands. After Virasat,
Priyadarshan comes up with another family drama played out against a
picture-postcard setting. And the fleeting, tantalising glimpses you caught
of the sapnon ki rani in brief song clippings was reason enough to track
her down to a nondescript hall in Juhu where she was rehearsing a medley
of chart-toppers for a show abroad.
