Vishwanath

Shivshakti Combines Presentations’ Vishwanath will go on the floors from February 16. Being directed by TLV Prasad for producers Jayant B Shah and Kirti Umarliya, the film has Mithun Chakraborty playing the title role. It has story-screenplay by S Khan, music by Bappi Lahiri and lyrics by Anwar Sagar. Other cast and credits are yet to be finalised.

Boond in Mauritius

The next schedule of Sai Farhaad Arts Presentations’ Boond will be held in Mauritius from the first week of March wherein all the songs will be picturised on the major starcast. Meanwhile writer-producer Jaanam Khan and director Inayat Shaikh completed a five-day long shooting spell at Bhagya Laxmi bungalow, Bhasin Nest, Dana Paani, Aksa Village and various other locales of Mumbai from January 30. The film stars Siddharth Dhawan, Mumtaz, Navin Beri, Pankaj Beri, Prema Kiran, Anuradha Sawant, Mulraj Rajda, Ankush Mohit, Narendra Dev, Asad Ajmeri, Reema Thakur, Harish Patel and Mohan Joshi. The film has screenplay and dialogue by Asad Ajmeri, cinematography by Nandu Chowdhary and music by Rajendra and Liyakat Ajmeri are the other credits.

Ab...?

The shooting of Anju Films’ Ab...? will commence in the last week of February. Music director Bappi Lahiri recently recorded the first song at Sunny Super Sound. Penned by Anwar Sagar, it was rendered by Altaf Raja. Being produced by Gafoor Khan and Anwar Sagar and directed by KR Reddy, the film has story-screenplay by S Khan and dialogue by Anwar Khan. While Mithun Chakraborty is playing the lead role, two top heros and two top heroines are yet to be finalised.

Hum Hain Bhaatwasi

Gurudev Productions’ Hum Hain Bharatwasi, a film on national integration with children playing stellar roles was launched on January 26 with a ten-day shooting schedule at Himalaya bungalow and Essel Studios. Written and directed by Majeed Khan for producer DR Bhatia, the film stars Imran Khan, Neha Sharad, Raja Tripathi, Sunil Sethi, James Thomson, Master Swaraj, Master Rishith and a host of talented kids belonging to the Mumbai theatre. Music by Prabhakar Rege and lyrics by Majeed Khan are the other credits.

Apradhi Kaun

Orison Productions’ Apradhi Kaun is now half complete. The non-stop shooting schedule which is currently in progress at various bungalows and locales of Mumbai will be completed on February 18 while three songs will be picturised in Mahabaleshwar during the month end. The film stars Ram Asra, Mehak, Pankaj Berry, Shagufta Ali, Dinesh Hingoo, newfind Madhoo, Kiran Kumar, Mohan Joshi, Ishrat Ali, Master Anuj Sharma and Raza Murad alongwith model Poonam, Gail Maavis, Anjana, Hrishikesh, Kunal Shakoon and Sapan. Being produced by Kishore Arora and written-directed by Mohan Bhakri, the film has dialogue by Anil Pandit, cinematography by Arvind Bhakri and music by Nadeem-Shrawan. Dinesh Kannan presents the film.

Nakhoon

The post production wotk of Talk Of The Town Films’ Nakhoon commenced with the dubbing on February 5. The first print of the film will be out soon and it will be readied for release in March. The film stars Abhishek, Satyendra, Raj Khurana, Chandni Gupta, Kirti Shetty, Murari Sharma, Halwa Daas, Anirudh Agarwal, Johny Flower, Shiva, Deepak Shirke and Shakti Kapoor. Being produced by Surendra Mohan Ahuja, it has cinematography and direction by Dinesh Thakker, story by Sanjeev Soni, music by Raj Kalsi, action by Kinder Singh and editing by Vishwanath Karlekar.

Prem Shastra

Jaya Vijaya Combines’ Prem Shastra was launched on February 5 with a non-stop 20-day shooting spell at Gulistan bungalow, Sunrise Villa, Madh island and other locales of Mumbai. The film stars Priya Tendulkar, Amit Pachori, Palak, Neeraj Bharadwaj, Shashi Chawla, Mahesh Gupta, Kirit Rawal, Nadeem and Jasbir. Produced by PK Balakrishnan, the film has cinematography and direction by Anil Dhanda, story and lyrics by Ravi Bhushan and music by Suman Gopal. All the six songs of the film were recorded recently at Ablaze Sounds.

Bedaag

The sixth and the last song for Pick Up The World Films’ Bedaag was recorded recently at Line-In Recording Theatre. It was penned by producer-director Qamar Kashmiri and rendered by Kavita Krishnamurthy under the baton of music director Surendra Kumar. The film stars newfinds Arpita, Amar Betaab and Pinky in lead roles. Other starcast is yet to be finalised. The film has cinematography by Omee Bahl.

Murder in Khandala

Dilip Sen-Sameer Sen have been signed to score the music for Goldie Films’ Murder In Khandala. Being produced by Avtar Ahluwalia and directed by Ravi Ravan, the film stars Sudesh Berry, Milind Gunaji and Jyoti Rana in lead roles. Other cast and credits are under finalisation and the film will go on floors on locales of Khandala soon.

Chambal Ke Shahenshah

Director SN Azhar, cinematographer SA Sayeed and associate director Rajat left for the Chambal Valley recently to scout locales for United Hums’ Chambal Ke Shahenshah, the 15-day shooting stint for which will commence soon. Shoebh Khan, Jai Thakur, Seema Siddhu, Rucheeta and Raza Murad will participate in this stint. Being writter, produced and edited by Kader Kashmiri, it has music by Ram Shankar.

Nai Manzil Nai Raahen

The final editing of Kshitij Films’ Nai Manzil Nai Raahen commenced from February 5 in Mumbai. Mostly shot on locales of Bhopal and Gwalior, the film is being produced by Jamila Aziz. Starring Vikram Gokhale, Neelima Azim, Ashok, Preeti, Chandrashekhar, Subbiraj and Birbal, it is written and directed by SN Azhar. Story by Abdul Aziz and cinematography by Jagjit Bakshi are the major credits.

The Messenger

A two-day shooting stint for United Hums’ The Messenger was held at Chandivali and Madh Island where in many scenes were picturised on Shoebh Khan, Jai Thakur, Seema Siddhu, Rucheeta, Sujata Gujja, Sunil Don, Halwadaas and Javed. The film is being written, produced, directed and edited by Kader Kashmiri.

Dal-The Gang

SM Internationals’ Dal-The Gang went on floors on February 10 with a ten-day stint in and around locales of Mumbai. The film stars Raj Devgan, Aditya Kumar, Hitesh Patel, Raja, Shivangee, Sandhya Mehra, Ranjeet, Suresh Oberoi, Mohan Joshi, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Pramod Moutho and Mushtaq Khan. Produced by Sanjay Thakur and directed by Vicky Ranawat, the film has screenplay-dialogue by Arjun Arvind, lyrics by Sudhakar Sharma and music by Shyam Sunder.

Tantrik Shakti

Producer-director Jagdish Gautams’ Tantrik Shakti was shot for five-day at Rani Villa, Essel and Chandivili Studios from January 30 wherein many scenes were canned on Prithvi, Tina Ghai, Sara Khan and Bharat Kapoor.

Dil Churake Le Gayee

Producer Rameshwar Rai of Gwalior announced Dil Churake Le Gayee recently. The film will be launched shortly in Mumbai. Being made under the banner of Navrang Films, it is written and directed by K Raaj and has screenplay and dialogue by Metran and cinemato-grahy by Gaurang Shah. Other cast and credits are under finalisation.

Pyar Kar

Producers S Sana and Mrs Sultanat Faqih announced their Fan Productions’ new venture Pyar Kar. Director Sohail Shaikh will commence the shooting of the film in April. The film stars Surendra Pal, Gajendra Chavan, Ram Sethi, Sudhir Mittoo, Raja Duggal, Tina Ghai, Brando Bakshi, Yasin Khan, Lahmany Ishrat, Ali Kha, Sudhir, Johnny Lever, Kiran Kumar and Deepak Tijori. Two heroes and two heroines are yet to be finalised.

Bad Boys

Vinayak Films’ Bad Boys is already half complete The film stars Sikandar, Himanshu, Amit, Anyay, Hemant Pande and Ruhi Sawant alongwith Mukesh Rishi, Vidya Sinha, Shahzaad Khan, Razzak Khan, Sanjay Garodia, Harish Ptel, Suresh Chatwal, Dinesh Hingoo, Shakti Kapoor and Gulshan Grover. Produced by Jatin Kumar it has direction by Vicky Kumar, story by Salim Reza and cinematography by Akram Khan.

Ab Kya Hoga

The last 15-day shooting of Fan Productions Ab Kya Hoga will be held in Nasik and around locales of Mumbai. Being writer-producer and director Sohail Shaikh for producer Mrs Sultanat Faqih and co-producers S Sana and Noor Dalvi, the film stars Guddu Risvi, Brando Bakshi, Akhil Ghai, Lavnish, Shweta Mishra, Naina, Jyoti Rana, Satnam Kaur, Tina Ghai, Ram Sethi, Gajendra Chavan, Ali Khan, Om Pratap and Kiran Kumar. Music by Charles Srinivasan, lyrics by Shakil Wahid, Nayyar Jaunpuri and Sheela Bisht, action by Riyaz Sultan, editing by Rakesh Ajay, cinematography by Gaurang Shah and dialogue by SM Sadiq are the other major credits.

Aaj Ka Nanha Farishta

The first copy of producer Pratap Barots’ Aaj Ka Nanha Farishta was out on February 12 from Adlabs. Being made under the banner of Monang Films, the film stars Raj Devgan, Asha Mehra, Master Omkar Kapoor, Sujata Mehta, Shiva, Ishrat Ali, Paresh Rawal and Raj Babbar in key roles. Being written by Basheer Babbar, the film has cinematography by Anil Dhanda, action by Bhiku Verma, choreography by Habiba, Tinu and Dinesh, art by Anand Kalekar, editing by Gyan Sharma, lyrics by Sameer and Sikander Bharti and music by Rajesh Roshan.

Bank Robbery

The first print of JSS Films’ Bank Robbery is out. Being written and directed by Ravi Ravan for producer Prafulla Gholkar, the film stars Akshay Anand, Ashwini Bhave, Mohnish Bahl, Ronit Roy, Jeet Upendra, Tinnu Anand, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sameer Khakkar, Deepak Shirke, Tiku Talsania and Raza Murad. Cinema-tography by Ashok Behl, lyrics by Dev Kohli, Rani Malik and Vijay Waris, music by Mahesh-Kishore and action by Mahendra Verma are the other major credits. Co-produced by Mahendra Mehta, it is being readied for release in April.
