Pallavi sings
for Chahat Aur Nafrat
Of course
we knew that Ms Joshi can sing well enough to host a couple of musical shows,
viz. Close-Up Antakshari and Mahendra Kapoors Awaaz Ki Duniya. This
time the talented actress has gone a step further and recorded a duet for
Chahat Aur Nafrat, a popular serial on Zee, in which she plays Sharad
Kapoors second wife. She sang with Saurabh Sengupta, the
director-scriptwriter of the serial. The song is to be picturised on Pallavi
and Deepan Vartak.

MUNIR AHMED DIRECTS SAKTHI
Mega
serials are a novelty for Southern channels. Now, for the first time Sakthi,
a daily soap (family drama), is being telecast on Sun TV on a prime time
slot. A permanent set has been erected at one of AVMs studios and shooting
is proceeding briskly in 12-hour shifts, beginning from 9 am. When Nimbus
decided to produce this 520 episodes serial, they were scouting around for
a suitable director. They happened to see one of Munir Ahmeds serial
and promptly button-holed him as Sakthis
cameraman-director.
