Praful Tiwari to write dialogue for Dosh
Praful Tiwari has replaced BR Ishara as the dialogue-writer for Golden Productions Dosh. The film is being produced by Gurmeendra Singh and has screenplay, direction and editing by Pappu Phalvinder. Om Puri, Govind Namdeo and Pran, alongwith two new heroes comprise the cast. Story and screenplay by Paras Jaiswal, lyrics by Nagesh Lyallpuri and Ravi Chopra, art by Dilip Singh, sound by Harbans Singh and action by Darshan Singh are the other credits.

Third song recorded for Ek Nai Disha
Music director and lyricist Kamini Khanna recorded the third song for Nitin Enterprises’ Ek Nai Disha at Sahara India. The song was rendered by Sonu Nigam. The film is being produced by Nitin Sharma and AP Sharma, and directed by Kirti Kumar. Ashutosh Rana plays one of the lead roles. The film, which has cinematography by Peter Pereira, will go on floors in January 2000. It is presented by RP Sharma.

Kaam Pustak shooting complete
The entire shooting of Shoeta Media Entertainment’s Kaam Pustak was completed on November 30 at Padmalaya Studio, and various locales of Hyderabad. The highlight song of the film will be shot on one of the top stars of Bollywood soon. The cast includes Raksha, Kushal and Taboo. Directed by DV Sahadeva Reddy, the film has cinematography by MN Jawahar Reddy, dialogue by Shah Alam, editing by V Ravindar Babu, and music by V Guru Raj.

Ellan-E-Jung to be launched
Monica Arts’ Ellan-E-Jung will be launched with a grand muhurat in Mumbai, followed by a five-day shooting stint. The cast and other technical credits are yet to be finalised. The film is being produced by Dinesh Pahwa and directed by Sohail.


Yeh Raat shooting complete
The final shooting spell for Divey Arts’ Yeh Raat was completed at various locales of Mumbai. The cast includes Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Krishna, Monika, Arjun Mehendi, Upma, Ajay Bali, Shiva, Banwari Lal Jhol, Tarana, Preeti, Sonu, Ramesh Goyal, Anees Khan and Raja Hassan. Produced by Alok Rajput, and written and directed by Chintu Ruia, it has dialogue by Dhruv Singh, cinematography by Ashok Rao, sound by Banne Khan, editing by IM Kunnu and music by Kanwar Bharti. The film is a Manu Surti presentation.


Raat Ki Baat dubbing commences
The dubbing for Ashta Lakshmi Films’ Raat Ki Baat commenced from December 8 at Film City, Mumbai. The cast includes Mandeep, Sapna, Rajani Chandra, Mahesh Gupta, Kirti Rawal, Payal, Baug Singh, Mehendi, Sakshi, McMohan and Majid Shola. Produced by Lakshmi Narayan, the film has cinematography and direction by Anil Dhanda, story by Bashir Babbar and music by Datta Kumbhar.


Jungle Ka Khiladi complete
The entire shooting of Shree Ramakrishna Movies’ Jungle Ka Khiladi has been completed. Produced and directed by Anil Gandotra who has also written the story, the film introduces Avinash and Bharti in the lead. Other cast includes Dara Singh, Gulshan Grover, Tej Sapru, Mahesh Anand, Feroz Irani, Paintal, Sreepradha, Bandini Mishra, Upasana Khosla, Neelam Mehra and Seema Kapoor. Music by Usha Khanna, lyrics by Anil Gandotra, screenplay and dialogue by Sanjeev Soni, action by Heera Singh and cinematography by Prabhakar Niklankar are the other credits.


Additional song picturised for Bad Boys
Choreographer Habiba Rehman picturised one additional song on Raakhi and Himanshu for Vinayak Films’ Bad Boys on December 10 in Mumbai. The film which is complete, also has in its cast Sikander, Amit, Anay, Hemant Pande, Vidya Sinha, Razzak Khan, Suresh Chatwal, Brij Gopal, Mac Mohan, Sudhir, Sanjay Goradia, Avtar Gill, Shehzad Khan, Gurbachan, Jaya Mathur and Aanchal Malhotra. Mohan Joshi, Mukesh Rishi and Gulshan Grover play important roles. Produced by Jatin Kumar and directed by Vicky Kumar, it has story by Robby Kumar, screenplay and dialogue by Salim Raza, lyrics by Satya Prakash, music by Sayyed Ahmed and Jeet Ashish, cinematography by Akram Khan, action by Masood Patel, sound by Prakash Bhatia and editing by Om Prakash Makkar.


Chupke Chupke Pyaar Ho Gaya
The shooting for Shree Giriraj Films’ Chupke Chupke Pyaar Ho Gaya commenced from December 15 at Chamatkar bungalow, Film City, Madh Island and other locales of Mumbai. The film introduces Rajeshwar and Garima in the lead. Other cast includes Ajit Vachhani, Junior Mehmood, Preeti Patil and Moon Moon Sen. Produced by Vinod J Mehta and directed by Pramod Mandloi, it has story-screenplay by Rajan Layalpuri and dialogue by Abhijeet Ghatwar. Cinematography by Mukesh Mistry, sound by M Safdar, choreography by Madhav Kishan, action by Masood Patel and editing by Komal Verma are the other credits.


Maut Ki Raat
The first print of Sachi Arts’ Maut Ki Raat was released on December 10 from Adlabs. The film is produced and directed by Chandni Gupta, and has in its cast Satnam Kaur, Lalitesh, Satyendra, Vijay Gupta, Pinky, Raahat, Anees Khan, Vinod Tripathi, Madhu Tyagi, Kamal Khan and Ajay Gupta. Written by Dinesh Rai Bichhand, it has cinematography by Shyamal Chakraborty and editing by Prakash Kothare. Presented by Khazanchi Gupta, the film is being readied for January release.


Dinesh K Thakkar to direct
Dinesh K Thakkar has been signed as cinematographer and director for Maa Padmavati Productions’ Ye Dulhania Kiski Hai, being produced by Prakash Jain, who has also written the script. The film has music by Raj Kumar. Cast and credits are being finalised, and the film will go on the floors in January.

First print of Jadu Tona out
The first print of NDR Productions Jadu Tona was released on December 13. The film is produced by Rakesh Jain and Naresh Jain, and directed by Bahroze P. The cast includes Jyoti Rana, Renu Ratan, Akhilesh, Anil Nagrath, Bharat Kapoor and Raza Murad. Cinematography by Manish Jahangeer, music by Sanjay Raj, lyrics by Vaibhav Mishra and Prabhat Panda, and editing by Suhag Diwan are the other credits. The film is being readied for January 14 release all over India.

20-day shedule for Jwaala Daaku
Khushi Films’ Jwaala Daaku was launched on December 11 with a 20-day shooting stint in Udaipur and other locales of Rajasthan. The film is being produced by Narpat Ranawat and directed by Vicky Ranawat. Himanshu, Kiran, Hitesh, Durgesh Nandini, Azaad Khatri, Gulabo (Rajasthani folk dancer), Girja Shankar, Anil Nagrath, Raza Murad, Ranjeet and Shakti Kapoor, alongwith Rajasthan BJP leader Natu Singh Gujjar play key roles. Written by Sachindra Sharma, the film has cinematography by Tapan Kumar Basu, music by Shyam Sundar (who has recorded all the six songs) and lyrics by Sudhakar Sharma.

Ganga Jamuna Aur Mandakiniz
NDR Productions Ganga Jamuna Aur Mandakini will be launched on December 28, and then shot in Gandhinagar, Idar, Haloi, Hyderabad and Mumbai, in a non-stop 27 day schedule. The film is being produced by Naresh Jain and Suresh Bohra. Cinematography and direction by Anil Dhanda, story by Ravi Bhooshan, lyrics by Aatiq Allahabadi and music by Babu Kishan (who has recorded all the five songs) are the other credits. The cast and technical crew is being finalised.
