The last time the young and dynamic man of ideas, Dharmesh Darshan, made Raja Hindustani, the film won millions of hearts, some major awards and brought Dharmesh into the limelight, a director who showed great promise and potential for the future.

Out of the blue, I received a call from Manoj Bajpai. I did not know Manoj at all well. Neither had I seen his film, Satya. I was out of town when he called, and he called twice.

Epoch-making it wasn’t, yet, like it or lump it, the Rajshri movie has been the biggest hit of the year so far...

Praful Tiwari has replaced BR Ishara as the dialogue-writer for Golden Productions Dosh. The film is being produced by Gurmeendra Singh and has screenplay, direction and editing by Pappu Phalvinder.

Small is gainful, small is viable. This seems to be the slogan for a section of the industry which prefers not to bet on top stars. This section has worked out its own economics and is surviving creditably on a formula that makes sense to its promoters.
