Tell us something about your current project.
I was in Bangladesh where I have been for the last 4 months. During this time, I’ve acted in 2 serials, two plays and was a model for the music video of a very popular singer Aiyub Bachchu.
How did the shooting go?
It was exciting. I had fun during the shooting. I worked with the most eminent writer-director of Bangladesh, Humayun Ahmed.
When will we be able to see that video?
One play has already been aired this January. Another’s trailer has come out and will be aired soon.
Tell us something about yourself.
I love going to movies, modelling, visiting tropical places and shopping. I hate poor customer service, arrogance, cold winters and negativity. I like to travel to new romantic places, stay in shape with weight training and doing aerobics and I also listen to music and read a lot of books.
How do you spend your free time? Do you like going out with friends or party?
Yes, I do like parties and like to spend free time with my friends and family even though it’s really hard to get some free time nowadays.
What is your dream role as model and actress?
My dream is to work in American mainstream, though I wouldn’t mind working with independent filmmakers too.
What’s next on the cards?
Well, currently, I’m doing several photoshoots with different renowned photographers, I will be busy with at least 3 TV dramas in coming July which will be shot in Chicago.
Would you like to work in Hindi films?
There are obviously some good films being made currently, but apart from a few exceptions, the mainstream Hindi cinema doesn’t excite me. Telling the same story over and over again is the greatest drawback of Hindi films. I do dream of working in big Indian banners but only if they offered me something different.
