Actor Jaggesh’s wife Smt Parimala Jaggesh who is producing Makeup spoke to Screen at the Golf Club in Bangalore recently.

"Bollywood’s star Govinda and villain Shakti Kapoor are to figure in Makeup which has the 95 film-old hero Jaggesh playing the lead role. While Shakti Kapoor has confirmed his acceptance to play the villain, Govinda is yet to give his nod. My husband Jaggesh is an uncut diamond and it is for director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao to chisel and shape him. Makeup is our dream project and Jaggesh’s role demands a lot of concentration in the makeup department as it will take about five hours to don it and another two to remove it. We are roping in Anil, a renowned makeup artist who has worked in a Tamil film starring Ajit. The story revolves around a senior and junior cop. The junior inspector Jaggesh, with his comic element, brings a good name to the police department. The senior is targeted for his inability. As the junior gains fame, the senior cop decides to teach him a lesson. How he fixes the junior cop in the muddle will be interesting to watch.

As a matter of fact our entire family is involved in the project. While Jaggesh plays the hero, our eldest son Gururaj has written the script, his brothers Komal Kumar and Yathiraj are playing key roles in the film and I am producing this Rs.2 crore film which also stars Laila Patel of Mumbai, Doddanna, Mimicry Dayanand, Bank Janardhan, Rekha Das, Pankaja and Hegde. John, a popular key board player in the camp of many music directors, is independently scoring the music for this film."
