TN exhibitors free to fix rates

The Tamil Nadu Government has given the exhibitors the power to decide on the admission rates. This will give the exhibitors the power to charge more during the first few weeks of the release of a film and thereby pocket the collections. At present, the exhibitors were unofficially fixing admission rates above the prescribed rates to pocket the extra money. The new order gives legality to the exhibitor’s current modus operandi. Rajnikant lauded the decision of the TN government.
