Naveen’s
lean patch continues
 With
his latest release Chepalani Undi registering poor collections,
the lean patch of young actor Naveen continues. The son of veteran
producer Vadde Ramesh’s ticket to fame was Pelli and he followed
it up with hits like Snehithulu and Manasichichudu. His character
with negative shades in Chal Bagundi fetched him enough appreciation
but a hit has been eluding him for more than two years despite few
releases. With youngsters like Pavan Kalyan and Mahesh ruing the
roost he should be scouting for a strong script to resurrect his
career. Hope he finds one soon.
Asha Saini relegated to second fiddle
 Despite
EVV re-launching Asha Saini with Chalabagundi after her disastrous
debut Nee Kosam she ruined her career by accepting second leads.
Despite looking pretty after shedding extra kilos, her strategy
to play second fiddle with big stars back-fired since now she is
confined to similar roles. Except for the blockbuster Narasimhanaidu
where she shared honours with Simran and Preity Jhanghiani but also
had a flop like Prematho Raa with Venkatesh. With an item number
in Chepalani Undi and a guest role in Nuvvu Naaku Nachavu, her career
has nose-dived. Its another case of an upcoming actress loosing
her moorings.
