Venus launches Haryanvi pop album
Venus
launched its second Haryanvi pop album titled Gutarghun, produced
by Harvinder Malik, recently. The album was released by politician
Om Prakash Chautala. This is the second pop album produced by Malik,
comprising remixed folk songs, besides newly composed songs sung
by popular singers. The music for the album has been composed by
Lalit Sen. Malik had earlier produced a Haryanvi pop album titled
Gitpit Gitpit, released by venus, which did well.
Gutarghun has
two raginis, the popular form of folk music in Haryana, sung by
Rajinder Kharkia and Poornima.
The
video for the album has been directed by Malik himself and features
gorgeous model Viveka Babajee.
The success
of Gitpit Gitpit sourred Malik to come out with Gutarghun. It
is my belief that urban as well rural Haryanvis are looking for
something new and different by way of entertainment, says
Malik.
