More jhatkas for Mirinda

Pepsi
may consider adding new flavours to its brand Mirinda this
year. While, Ms Vibha Paul Rishi, executive vice president-marketing,
Pepsi, did not rule out the possibility, she refused to divulge
further details.
However, industry sources say that Pepsi is all set to add
new flavours including an apple flavour to the brand. Mirinda
is already available in two flavours - lemon and orange.
Meanwhile,
Govinda, a Pepsi endorser, is all set to give a jhatka to
Mirinda Lemon, this month. The company is about to launch
a new 40-sec ad with the Bollywood star and the current host
of Sony gameshow Chappar Phad ke.
Incidentally, Coke is one of the main sponsors of the game
show. Pepsi, however, has not used Amitabh Bachhan, who's
also a Pepsi endorser and who in the past has endorsed the
Mirinda brand. However, Ms Rishi promises a new Amitabh ad
is on the way.
