Rushali is not well, Rohit comes to see her but Dadima stops him. Meghna is worried about Manav as to where is he? Palak has a fight with her father and tries to kill herself, but Rohit saves her. The doctor informs Manav that he was in the last stage of cancer.

Jagatnarayan’s body is brought home. Prakash is released for a while to perform the last rites of his father. When he asks Sudha how Jagatnarayan had passed away, she subtly but surely accuses Karan as the cause. Karan is frustrated and shocked by Sudha’s words and thoughts, and leaves with Kamiya. At home, Kamiya has a visitor. A client who offers her big money if she agreed to work for him on a freelance basis. But she refuses to be disloyal to Arnav. The next morning, amidst the gloom in Sudha’s house, they receive yet another shattering news!

One fine morning he announces that he is going to stay with them for the rest of his life. Brigadier requests his family to save him from his brother. The family comes out with a unique plan to get rid of Tauji!

It is Sameer’s wedding anniversary and he is in a nostalgic mood. Heena also recalls her past. Akram realises that he is being very indifferent towards Heena and decides to take her out for dinner to make it up to her. Meanwhile Saira is all set for Zeenat’s visit, she makes a phone call to Zeenat, which Heena overhears and is shocked!

Bhupinder refuses to take the mehendi to Amardeep’s house due to the omission of Daljit’s name from the wedding cards. There is a heated argument between Surinder and Bhupinder. Amardeep and Kuldeep arrive to patch up and apologise to Bhupinder for omitting Daljit’s name. Jassi convinces Bhupinder to take the mehendi but he agrees only on the condition of Dolly and Bhupinder’s engagement. Surinder and Nani are extremely upset hearing Bhupinder’s condition. Amardeep and Kuldeep welcome the guests when they arrive with the mehendi. Ravi calls Chanchal on the terrace and decides to speak with his parents about marrying Chanchal after Ranbir’s wedding, which, Dolly overhears.

Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin

Rajat takes Anjali to the clinic. After the abortion, Anjali is all lost as though something within her is dead. Amit tries to talk to her but she doesn’t respond. Shashi calls her up to know why she is upset and Anjali tells her that everything is just fine. Mamta tells Rajat to be with Anjali as she needs him the most. Amit comes to Anjali’s house and his gestures make Anjali cry.

Vijay calls up Poonam and she gets scared. Kuki comes to the house and finds out that Vijay really does exist and decides to do something about it. Vikas comes home drunk and creates a scene. Naina and Vikas have a confrontation. Kuki tells Poonam that he will make sure that Vijay is out of her life and does not trouble her any more. Vikas tries to make amends with Naina but Naina is adamant.

Dahshat

This week in Dahshat is the story of two sisters Pooja and Bebu. Though sisters, they both hate each other. Something happened during their childhood that has made them sworn enemies. Both Pooja and Bebu are constantly trying to get at each other. What could be the reason for such staunch enmity? And how far will they go to get the better of each other?

Raman suggests to Prashant that the missing vouchers can be hidden from the auditors by creating a small fire in the office. Deepti barges in the office and asks for a favour from Rama and gives him a chocolate. Dadaji gives a surprise to Prashant by reaching his office directly. Deepti, Neha and Sugandh dress up Dadi like a bride. All are excited when Dadaji reaches home. Dadaji gets emotional when he sees Dadi. Sanjay brings sweets at home and gives everybody the news about his promotion. Sanjay is happy that they will shift to a new place. Shekhar advises his father to remain honest but Sanjay reacts differently saying that he will become something else. Shekhar is worried. While Dadaji converses with Dadiji he says that he wanted to start more business in Inida. Dadi wonders why he wants to start a business in India and says there is nobody of his own in India.

Anupamaa
Feb. 16, 9.00 p.m.
Akash inquires with Anupamaa as to why her parents did not take the money. Anupamaa explains that it was because of Minal’s misbehaviour that their pride was hurt. Aakash convinces Anupamaa to give the money to her parents which they do. In order to win over Priya, Manish deliberately tells about Minal, his wife. Sheetal’s in-laws demand Rs.20 lakh from her family, failing which they would drive her out. While Sheetal’s mother is prepared to pay this money, Anupamaa is against this as she is aware that Sheetal does not want to stay with her in-laws. Sheetal is tortured by her in-laws and ultimately comes to her parents. Anupamaa lodges police complaint against Sheetal’s in-laws much against the wishes of her mother-in-law and puts them under custody.

Meanwhile Chayya gets a call from the bank to renew her joint account with Vikram and there she encounters Vikram. She starts thinking about the times that they shared together.

Seeing Pixie, Anu gets embarrassed but Balraj tells her that he never discussed anything about them with his father. Anu goes to the coffee shop with Balraj which makes Urmila happy since she admires Balraj. Balraj fires Sethi for lying to Anu about their non existent marriage plans. Anu and Kanchi have discus the relationship when Anu tells Kanchi that she will find someone suitable for herself....

Kabhi Kabhi Mere Ghar Mein Bhuchaal Aata Hai

Manoj brings gifts for everyone except Sikander when he returns from an outstation trip. This, compiled with a few other small incidents offends Sikander and he threatens to quit. The three daughters-in-law of the family think that Sikander must be stopped but their husbands think otherwise. They think that the world will not come to an end without Sikander. He finally leaves and the three brothers have to chip in, in the household chores.....

Shakalaka Boom Boom DD-1
Feb. 18, 11.30 a.m.
Chandu gets his uncle who is a magician to do a show in school. He also tells his uncle about Sanju and tells him to do some mean tricks on him. To be popular with all the children, Chandu learns some tricks from his uncle and plans to try it on Sanju but the trick backfires on Chandu and he gets even more angry with Sanju. Chandu is so angry that he breaks the magician’s wand by mistake but puts the blame on Sanju. Now the magician is livid with Sanju and tosses him around in the class room flinging him from wall to wall.

Sanju is extremely angry with the magician and decides to get even and the only way to do this is to ruin the magic show. He draws different things on different chits of paper and puts them into the magician’s clothes and the magic show goes haywire.

Meanwhile Crystal Baba and Kaalia have come to the school again to try their pencil magnet. They put all the desks around the magnet and this time they are very confident that they will find the pencil-but once again their plan fails.On stage the magic show is a failure and the magician is very upset. He goes to Sanju apologises and asks him to rectify thing Sanju being a good boy tells him not to worry and once again save the day.

Asian Elephants, Wanted Alive

Three sub-species of elephants still live wild in thirteen countries across Asia. Numbering one tenth as many as their African cousins, Asian elephants are gravely endangered living in relatively small pockets of habitat across their range. Predominately forest dwellers, wild Asian elephants are often difficult to observe and flilm clasp and can become agressive and dangerous. Their matriarchal society and dynamic group behavior make them hightly interesting subjects to watch and enjoy. Filmed in India, Sri Lanka and Sumatra this well documented film will enlighten and entertain viewers with detailed elephant behaviour, cultural celebration and conservation strategies to show how these largest of land mammals live.

Natural Born Robot

Alan Alda takes a look at the cutting edge world of robotics. Like the pioneers of flight who mimicked birds, these scientists take their cues from tuna fish, babies, ducks to build Robots. Scientists at Case Western University are taking cues from an infernal pest, a cockroach. Using the cockroach, they build a multi-legged robot that can traverse rough terrain and minefields. Others at MIT are working with a robotic tuna in an attempt to build the ultimate submersible. Natural Born Robots is a fascinating look at the latest in robot technology.

Nick’s Quest - The Manta Ray

Nick begins his unique quest at the southern extreme of the Great Barrier Reef, Lady Elliott Island, widely regarded as one of the best dive sites in the world. Nick goes in search of the Manta ray, a giant, majestic animal that can be found in one of the world’s largest reefs, over a thousand miles long. On his quest to come face-to-face with a giant Manta, Nick encounters many other inhabitants of the reef, including parrotfish, sea cucumbers and moray eels. The success of his quest, however, is threatened by bad weather.

Viewers meet Jeremy Keeling, the head keeper who hasn’t had a day off in decades, Charlie, the nutty chimp and Paddy, his protector. The series travels to Spain, Turkey and Holland to rescue mistreated chimps and bring them to the sanctuary. Monkey World’s success stories will renew viewers’ hope in human’s ability to save the planet’s wildlife.

Animal X - Maryland Goat Man
Feb. 17, 6.30 p.m.
For more than four decades a creature with a human body and legs like a goat has reportedly haunted the American state of Maryland. Reports began to emerge in 1957. A large hairy man-like creature was seen by a couple in their driveway as they arrived home late one night. A posses was formed to hunt for the animal, but nothing was ever found. In 11930, just two days before the Melbourne Cup, an attempt was made on Phar Lap’s life, but Tommy Woodcock shielded Phar Lap who went on to win the race. Phar Lap died in California, United States in 1932. Animal X explores the mystery and controversy that surround the death of this national treasure.

Rohit, Archana and Khurana come to the house but there is a confrontation with Shakuntala and Vijay, when Khurana says that Rohit too has a share in the family property. Vijay throws them out and asks them to come straight to court.

Samir is disturbed at the way Pia reacts about Shastri’s resignation. Shastri tells Roli that now Pia will have to lead her life on her own. Pia decides to change her attitude when she learns that it is Samir’s birthday the next day and is a little surprised by something that Samir says to her. Abhay meets Shastri to invite him on Samir’s birthday party, but Samir cancels the party. Abhay asks Pia to talk to Samir to support the new venture. Pia goes to Samir but talks about something more personal.

Sharda and Anjali are terribly shocked to learn about Ashok’s death. Nancy is agonised when Jenny cries in Ajay’s arms after getting the shocking news. Imarti is furious as Rohit calls her to find out Simi’s whereabouts. Jenny gets wild at Rachel for saying that at least now they know Ashok won’t come back. Shakuntala gets Pavan Gupta’s reminder call when she goes to console Sharda. She goes to the planned spot and shoots the man dead. When she reaches home, she has a visitor.
