chief of the Daulat Co-operative Sugar Factory. Other key
players in the drama are Daulatraos ambitious daughter-in-law
Renuka (Pratiksha Lonkar), her elder brother-in-law Ranjitrao
(Sandip Kulkarni), Daulatraos competitor and also a
sugar factory owner Vilasrao (Uday Sabnis), Ranjitraos
wife Anjali (Shubhangi Gokhale), Daulatraos wife Saraswati
(Sarla Yeolekar), Daulatraos friend and elder politician
Jeevanrao (Vijay Thombre), Daulatraos second son, an
army officer and Renukas husband Satyajit (Jagdish Patankar),
Daulatraos youngest son Vishwajeet (Nikhil Hazare),
a local meddlesome politician Subhanrao (Nitin Thakur), chief
minister Ramrao (Dr Sharad Bhutadia), newspaper editor Varun
Keskar (Anand Agashe) and the newspapers investigative
reporter Vikas (Satish Pulekar).
The tale is replete with intrigues and has an impact on the
personal as well as the public life of the characters involved.

this serial. The other main technicians are Jafar Sultan (editor),
Prakash Joshi (art director) Pradeep Deshpande (sound recordist).
