Lata, Amitabh to Gujarat’s aid
Lata Mangeshkar with other singers will perform at a three-hour
long concert organised by Raj Thackeray and his Shiv Udyog
Sena at Shivaji Park on March 5 to raise funds for the
reconstruction of the quake-ravaged Gujarat. Amitabh Bachchan,
Bal Thackeray and Sachin Tendulkar will also participate.
Tickets will be sold at a flat rate of Rs 100 per entrant. |

Boney Kapoor’s Hamara Dil Aap Ke Paas Hai is celebrating
its silver jubilee this week. Starring Anil Kapoor,
Aishwarya Rai, Sonali Bendre and Anupam Kher, the film
is directed by Satish Kaushik and has music by Sanjeev-Darshan.

First schedule for Pitaah
Director Mahesh Manjrekar completed the initial 15-day
stint of Aryaman Films Pitaah recently at Panchgani
and Mahabaleshwar. The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Jackie
Shroff, Nandita Sen, Sachin Khedekar and others.

shoot for All the Best
Producer Gaurang Desai and director Vipul Shah have
started a one-month shoot for VR Pictures’ All
the Best. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Sushmita
Sen and Aditi Gowitrikar, the film has music by Jatin-Lalit.
