Dil Dhoondta Hai
Producer Tahir Hussain and director Anwar Pasha canned some crucial scenes on Shoeb Khan, Devi Sri, Divya, Upma Srivastava, Farhad Nathani and Suhas Joshi at Balkunth bungalow for A1-Tahir Entertainments’ Dil Dhoondta Hai in a two-day stint on February 1 and 2. Some dramatic scenes were canned at Jeevan Silk Mills, Saki Naka during a three-day spell that concluded on February 12. Two songs, under the supervision of choreographers Habiba Rehman and Raju Khan, and pivotal scenes are being canned on Shoeb Khan, Devi Sri, Divya and Meena Bob at New Theatre, Goregaon during a ten-day schedule from February 15. The film also features Mushtaq Merchant, Ved Thapar, Raju Thakkar, Zubaida, Meena Patel, Pappu Polyster, Bob Bramhbhatt, Kishan Kumar and Shehzad Khan. Music by Anu Malik, lyrics by Tahir Hussain, story by Anwar Pasha, screenplay by Tahir Hussain, Shenaz T Khan and Anwar Pasha, dialogues by Madan Joshi, cinematography by Munir Khan, choreography by Saroj Khan, Chinni Prakash, Raju Khan and Habiba Rehman, art by Shiv Shankar, editing by Ajay Saxena and sound by Madan Prakash are the other credits.

Hosh
Producer Iqbal Baksh and director Guddu Jaafri completed a four-day shooting schedule on February 6 at Jagan Laxmi bungalow and Mohan Studio, Andheri wherein a song and some dramatic scenes were picturised on Sandeep Bedi, Sweta, Shikhar, Tahir Khan, Ashish Kumar and 80 dancers and junior artistes on a set erected by art director Khursheed Khan. The picture is now 90 per cent complete. Sikandar Khan, Rekha Pareikh, Archana Kapoor, Muskaan, Vickey Mehra, Shiva, Ali Khan, Sunil Chandna, Mohan Joshi, Raza Murad and Kiran Kumar are also in the cast. Music by Pappu Pawan, cinematography by Aroop Hazra, action by Akbar Shariff, choreography by Dilip Mistry and Gopal, sound by JS Shaikh, screenplay and dialogues by Noon Jaafri and story by Manoj Hansraj are the other credits.

Sabse Badhkar Hum
Spectrum Pictures Combine’s Sabse Badhkar Hum was shot for six days, from January 30 to February 4 in Chennai where the climax and balance portions were canned. The film is now nearing completion. Being produced by Mrs. Geeta Gupta, it stars Mithun Chakraborty, Manek Bedi, Samrat, Rituparna, Simran, Mohan Joshi, Ranjeet, Deepak Shirke, Gajendra Chauhan and Deven Varma. Written by Lalit Mahajan, the film has music by Anu Malik, action by Bhiku Verma, cinematography by Damodar Naidu and editing by Nasir Hakim. Imtiaz Shaikh is the associate producer.

MIXING

Mera Haque
Mixing of AV Creations Internationals’ Mera Haque was held on February 12 and 13 at Studio Ablaze. The first copy of the film will be out on February 20. Produced by Akbar Khan, Vinita Bhagat and Ahmed Ali and directed by Papu Bahruz, the film stars Amit Pachori, Sapna, Aman Sagar, Kishore Bhanushali, Ankush Mohit, Surekha, Anil Nagrath, Aarti Patkar, Deepshikha, Baby Srishti and Kiran Kumar. Dubbing of Havoc Films’ Raat Ka Doosra Paher began from February 12 at Studio Ablaze. Mixing will begin from February 20 and the first print of the film will be out on February 25. A day’s patch-work shooting will also be held shortly. Produced by Razzak Khan and Zubair Chauhan and directed by Rahman Shaikh, it stars Aman Sagar, Pooja Dadwal, Mamta Chauhan, Soniya Khan, Nisha Khan, Sharmila Shetty, Heena Rajput, Salil Sudhakar, Arshad Ansari, Sameer Nanavati, Kishore Bhanushali, Birbal, Geeta Nishaad, Shakeela Majid, Ashwin Kaushal, Arun Mathur, Mahesh Raaj, Hemant Birje, Kiran Kumar and Razzak Khan. Producer Nitin Mittal completed the editing work of Parijat Films’ Shiva Ka Insaaf under the supervision of editor Kamal Saigal on February 8 at RK Editing Room, Mumbai. The first copy of Millennium Movie Makers’ Khoj was out on February 8 from Adlabs. Aisa Kyon?
The mixing of Kailash Art International’s maiden venture Aisa Kyon? commenced recently. The first print will be out from Ad Labs. The film, being produced by KC Sharma and directed by BB Sinha, is based on a story written by Vidur Kamal Nayan, and has music by Raamlaxman, lyrics by Dev Kohli, choreography by Habiba Rehman, action by Kaushal Moses, sound by Thomas Verghese and editing by Yakub Khan. It stars Rajesh, Radhika, Mohan Joshi, Raza Murad, Anil Dhawan, Anant Mahadevan, Sudhir Dalvi, Avtar Gill, Ram Mohan, Harjesh Paul Jagdish, Razzak Khan and Johny Lever.

Memsaab No. 1
Raj Cine Arts’ Memsaab No. 1 is due for release on March 9 all over. The film, being produced by Virendra Gupta and written and directed by Rajendra R. Newfind Naim Khan faced the camera for the muhurat shot of Aids Ka Shikanja, a film on AIDS awareness at Sun Rise Villa on February 8 at Versova, Mumbai. The film professes the devise of prevention of the precarious AIDS. Guest director V Menon sounded the clap while social worker Shamimi Bano switched on the camera. Mukesh M Malhotra broke the auspicious coconut. Producer-director Naresh Gupta executed the initial day’s shooting. Being made under the banner of Gupta Productions, the film has music by P Palwankar, cinematography by BL Verma, screenplay and dialogues by KP Tiwari and lyrics by Masoom. The film also stars Vinod Jhala, Mahesh, Mukesh Singh, Atul Bahadur, Vijay Saha and Gufi Paintal in an important role.

Dharmendra has been signed to play the title role in Savitri Internationals’ Prod. No.5 titled Babbar Sher. Music directors Suman-Sudeep have recorded the third and fourth song for Om Nama Shiva Films’ Bholi Bhali Ladki on February 5 at KK Sounds. Penned by Shyam Raaj, they are rendered by Nain Rathod and Pameela Jain. The film is being produced by Robin Ghai who also plays the male lead and is directed by K Shivraam. Written by Sanjeev Soni, it has cinematography by Dilip Dey and editing by Baloo Saluja.

Producer Sanjesh and Rajesh Ahuja recorded the first song for Ambika Films’ Mujhe Pyar Hua Tumse on February 7 at Sahara Recording Studios, Mumbai. Vinod Rathod and chorus rendered their voice for the music composed by music director Devaa and penned by PK Mishra and Satish Kumar Ajanabee. Directed by Suresh Krishna, the film stars Nagarjun, Deepti Bhatnagar, Simran, Dara Singh, Mahesh Anand, who plays stellar roles. It is a PL Ahuja presentation movie.

Khatron Ke Khiladi
A song was added in ABC Pictures (P) Ltd.’s Khatron Ke Khiladi. It was picturised on Asha Sachdev and Kiran Kumar on a special set errected at Kamal Amrohi Studio on February 13. The talkie portions of the film is complete and it will be ready for release in March. Being produced by Sanjay D Chaturvedi and directed by Imran Khalid, the film stars Mithun Chakraborty, Puru Rajkumar, Ronit Roy, Sudesh Berry, Sheel Jehangir, Rutika Singh Amikao, Tej Sapru, Ishrat Ali, Master Shantanu and Vishwajeet Pradhan with Raj Babbar in a double role.
