Songs recorded for Basti
Producer Basharat Khan recorded two songs for SB Creation’s Basti under the baton of music director Milind Sagar at Sahara Recording Theatre. Penned by Gauhar Kanpuri and Sudhakar Sharma, the songs were rendered by Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Sunidhi Chauhan. Being directed by Tarun Wadhwa, the film stars Faisal Khan, Samir Soni, Sanobar Kabir, Shama Sikandar, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Ranjeet, Liyakat Bari, Brij Gopal, Rajendra Gupta, Pramod Moutho, Sheeba and Sadashiv Amrapurkar. Screenplay by M Salim, dialogue by Naeem Ejaz, additional screenplay by Tarun Wadhwa, cinematography by Laxmi Narayan, action by Hanif Khan and choreography by Ricky James are the major credits. Alok Sharad is the production executive.

Salim’s Mitti on the editing table

Producer Salim’s and Aftab Pictures Pvt. Ltd’s bilingual ventures Mitti in Hindi and Oh Calcutta in English is on the final editing table at Dream Edit. The entire shooting of the film is complete. Being written and directed by Iqbal Durrani, it has music by Sajid-Wajid, Ali Gani and Monty, lyrics by Mehboob, English dialogue by Gajja, cinematography by KV Rammana, action by Mehmood Bakshi and editing Waman Bhosle. The film stars Firdaus (from Bangladesh), Sharbani Mukerji, Vastavikta, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Pramod Moutho, Arif Zakaria and Mukesh Tiwari. HM Ishaque presents the film.

Khatron Ke Khiladi shooting complete

With the conclusion of a three-day patchwork on January 29, 30 and 31 at different locales of Mumbai, the entire shooting of ABC Pictures Pvt Ltd’s and producer Sanjay D Chaturvedir’s Khatron Ke Khiladi is complete. The film is being directed by Imran Khalid and is written by Khalid Majid. Starring Mithun Chakrabory, Ronit Roy, Sudesh Berry, Sheel Jhangira, Rutika Singh, Amikao, Shweta Menon, Tej Sapru, Rami Reddy, Ishrat Ali, Vishwajit Pradhan, Asha Sachdev and Kiran Kumar with Raj Babbar in a double role, the film has cinematography by Ashok Rao, action by Hanif Khan, choreography by Habiba Khan and Dilip Mistry. and music by Ram Shankar. Bharat Chaturvedi is the co-producer. DN Chaturvedi presents the film.

20-spell for Yeh Mohabbat Hai

Director Umesh Mehra stared a twenty day marathon shooting schedule of Cine Vista Eagel Plus Media (P) Ltd.’s Yeh Mohabbat Hai from January 24 on a huge set at Film City wherein a song and many scenes are being picturised featuring all the artists. The film is being produced by Prem Kishan, Sunil Mehra and Umesh Mehra and stars Rahul Bhatt, Akanksha Malhotra, Nasir Khan, Mohini Sharma, Danny Denzongpa, Shakti Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Mohnish Bahl, Rakesh Bedi, Johnny Lever, Dolly Bindra, Avtar Gill, Anjana Mumtaz and Gurbachan. Being written by Umesh Mehra, R Talukdar and M Zaveri, the film has music by Anand Raaj Anand, lyrics by Dev Kohli, cinematography by S Pappu, art by Leeladhar Sawant, choreography by Bhusan Lakhandri and action by Kammu and Ravi. Vijay Mehra is the executive producer.

Final spell of Arjun Devaa
The final spell of Makewell Films and producer Gautam Dhariwal’s Arjun Devaa started on January 27. With the completion of this schedule, the entire film is complete. Being directed by Imran Khalid and written by Meeraq Mirza, the film has music by Gunwant Raj and Ram Shankar, action by Hanif Khan and cinematography by Ashok Rao. The film stars Mithun Chakraborty, Puru Rajkumar, Rutika Singh, Sapna, Shakti Kapoor, Gajendra Chaudhan, Hemant Birje, Brij Gopal, Vikrant, Shyam Solanki, Bobby Saini and Jay Thakur.

10-day shooting for Rahen Na Rahen Hum
Producer Nithin Raj Arayadath and director Kamal (from South) commenced a ten-day shooting schedule from January 28 for Eklavya Visions (P) Ltd’s Rahen Na Rahen Hum. During the schedule, major action portions and crucial scenes are being filmed on Ajay Devgan, Amisha Patel, Mahima Chaudhary, Shakti Kapoor, Alok Nath, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Supriya Karnik and a host of stuntmen on locations such as shipyard in Ballard Pier, Madh Island, Film City and around Mumbai. Music by Jatin-Lalit, lyrics by Sameer, cinematography by Hari Nair, thrills by Bhiku Verma, dialogue by Sanjay Masoom, art by SS Sharma and sound by Uday Inamati are the other credits.

Soch shot in Pune

Zeekay Films P. Ltd. Soch was shot from January 22 to 25 at Hotel Le Meridien and at Ambrosia Resort, Pune featuring the lead pair Sanjay Kapoor and Raveena Tandon. The film is now 75 per cent complete. Being produced by Dr Wijahat Kareem with Dr Surheeta Kareem and Rizwan Ullah as co-producers, the film also stars Aditi Govitrikar, Arbaaz Khan, Tiku Talsania, Mushtaq Khan and Danny Denzongpa. Sushen Bhatnagar directs the film on his own story and screenplay. Dialogue by Atul Tiwari, music by Jatin-Lalit, lyrics by Sameer, cinematography by Rajen Kothari, choreography by Rekha Chinni Prakash, editing by Umesh Gupta, sound by Anuj Mathur, action by Shahid Ali Shanu and art by Sunita Gupta are the other credits.
