The final editing of A.V. Creation Internationals
Mera Haque began on January 11 at Prakash Mehras editing
room in Hotel Kings, Juhu. The balance post-production work
of the film will be completed on January 25. Being produced
by Akbar Khan, Vinita Bhagat and Ahmed Ali and directed by
Papu Bahruz, the film stars Amit Pachori, Sapna, Aman Sagar,
Kishore Bhanushali, Ankush Mohit, Surekha, Anil Nagrath, Aarti
Patkar, Deepiksha, Baby Shrishti and Kiran Kumar. Written
by Malhar Singh, the film has lyrics and music by Ravi Chopra,
cinematography by Manish-Jehangeer, choreography by Bobby,
action by Suresh Rao and art by Ashok Samanta.
Raat Ka Doosra Paher
The editing work of Havoc Films Raat Ka Doosra Paher
began on January 8 at Sangam Editing Room. The balance post-production
work of the film will be completed on January 30 and the first
print will be out on February 5. The film, produced by Razzak
Khan and Zubair Chauhand, stars Soniya Khan, Sharmila Shetty,
Heena Rajput, Arshad Ansari, Nisha Khan, Sameer Nanavati,
Kishore Bhanushali, Birbal, Salil Sudhakar, Geeta Nishaad,
Shakeela Majid, Ashwin Kaushal, Arun Mathur, Mahesh Raaj,
Hemant Birje, Kiran Kumar and Razzak Khan. Story by Razzak
Khan, screenplay-dialogue by Ashok Jabalpuri, lyrics by Ayub
Siddique and Nayyar Jounpuri, music by Navin Kumar, cinematography
by Dinesh K. Thakkar, choreography by Mahesh Kumar and Dinesh
Balraj and editing by Rajender Singh are the major credits.

Saugandh Geeta Ki
The final editing of Trishna Arts Saugandh Geeta Ki
began on January 10 at Prakash Kothares editing room.
The film is produced by Chandni Gupta and Avinash and directed
by Willy-Raja, and stars Dharmendra, Hemant Birje, Lalitesh,
Vijay Gupta, Anil Nagrath, Poonam Dasgupta, Ishrat Ali, Anjali
Kashmira, Pinky Chinoy and Mahesh Raaj. Written by Siddique
Durrani, it has cinematography by Shyamal Chakravorty and
music by Sourabh. It is presented by Khazanchi Gupta.

Great Target
Shreeman Films maiden film Great Target was launched
with non-stop shooting schedule, at Mohan Studios (one of
the oldest studios in Mumbai), on January 9. Lead pair Pramod
Anand, Ashima Bhalla and Pinky Chinoy faced the camera for
the inaugural shot, while veteran actor Biswajeet sounded
the clapper board and Kulbhushan Gupta switched on the camera.
Dharmendra plays key role in the film which also stars Nirmal
Pandey, Kiran Kumar, Harish Patel, Charlie and Vidya Sinha
in important roles. Being produced by Dr Rajiv Ranjan Singh
and jointly directed by Jeet and Rajiv, it has music by Ghulam
Ali and Chander who had already recorded six songs penned
by Rajiv Ranjan, cinematography by Hasmukh Rajput, story by
Saroor Lakhnowi, screenplay-dialogue by Harsh Krishnatrey,
action by Ilias Shaikh, art by Mahender, choreography by Gopal
and editing by Jeet.
Apsara
Writer-producer-director Rajesh Mittal and Nirmala Movies
Apsara was launched on January 8 at Essel Studios followed
by a 12-day shooting stint at Film City, Surve Farm and Khandala
locales. Raza Murad sounded the clap for the muhurt shot and
newfind Sucheeta (in title role) and Anil Dhawan faced the
camera. The film also stars Aslam Javed, Mac Mohan, Shail
Chaturvedi, Anil Nagrath, Ramesh Tiwari, Ali Khan, Kiran Amroo,
KK Sharma, Sheetal and Raza Murad. It has cinematography by
Aroop Hazra, music by Arvind Kishan Raaj, action by Yusuf
Khan, choreography by Meera-Raju and editing by Subbiraaj.
Hunterwali
Hunterwali was launched on January 9 at Essel Studios. It
was followed by a ten-day shooting schedule at Basra Studios,
Film City, China Creek, Bassein Fort and Khandala locles.
Raza Murad sounded the clapper-board for the muhurt shot and
Satnam Kaur (playing the title role) and Anil Nagrath faced
the camera. The film also stars Dinesh, Mac Mohan, Rohit Raj,
Ramesh Goyal, Jeetendra Shrimalee, Menka, Pooja Khan and Raza
Murad. The film is being written and directed by R Mittal
and has music by Prem Kumar Sharma, cinematography by Arron
Hazra, action by Yusuf Khan and editing by Subbiraaj.
Ang Se Ang Laga Le
Deepak Arts Movies Ang Se Ang Laga Le was launched with
the recording of a song on January 14 in Mumbai. The film
is being produced by Sanjay Ahuja and written by Anand Dehelvi
and KL Ahuja and has music by Surendra Kohli and cinematography
by Harish Chaudhary. It stars Amit Kapoor.

Kaaboo
Producer-director Vicky Ranawat has signed super model Miss
Gladrags 98 Tora Khasgir opposite Rajat Bedi
for his Khusi Films Kaaboo. She also participated in
a five-day shooting stint from January 4 at Madh Island, Lokhandwala
Complex and other locales of Mumbai. The film also stars Faisal
Khan, Nirmal Pandey, Alok Nath, newfind Priyanka Mehta, Mushtaq
Khan, Virendra Saxena, Mahesh Joshi (Congress Minister of
Rajasthan State) with Sayaji Shinde and Govind Namdeo. Two
more heroes and heroines are under finalisation. Being written
by S Sachindra, the film has cinematography by Naseer Khan,
action by Heera Singh, choreography by Ricky-James, art by
Ranga, sound by Yaseen Khan, editing by Kuku and Cuckoo, lyrics
by Naqsh Lyalpuri and music by Anchal Talesara.
Dil Se Teri Yaad Na Jaye
Purvee, Mahesh Raaj and Tara Sharma have been added to the
cast of Sai Leela Productions Dil Se Teri Yaad Na Jaye.
They participated alongwith Raajeev Raaj, newfind Meghna,
Ranjeet, Yunuz Parwaiz, Dinesh Hingoo, Aarif Khan, Devraaj,
Babban Yadav and Raza Murad. A four-day shooting stint of
the film was held at Basra Studios, MBC Studios and locales
of Mumbai. Written-produced by lyricist Naim Singh, the film
has cinematography and direction by Anil Dhanda, music by
Chandrama Chandrahi, art by Amrik Singh and action by Darshan
Singh. Mrs. Latika presents the film which is now 80 per cent
complete.

Mixing of Cine Deep Productions Ek Raaz Mere
Dil Mein Hai was completed on January 12 at Sight-N-Sound.
The first copy of the film will be out on January 20 and it
is being released in February all over. Produced and directed
by Surinder Malhotra, it stars Jay Thakur, Sanjeevna Gupta,
Anu Kashyap, Sapna, Priya Kadam, Mac Mohan, Madhoo Bharti,

Producer-director Balvinder Sandhu announced B.S. Films
Prod. No.3 titled Chunariya recently. The film has story,
dialogue and lyrics by Sudhakar Sharma and screenplay by Dilip
Raj. The cast and other credits of the film are being finalised.

Meri Dhoti Tera Ghagra
Writer-producer-director and hero Yogendra Konkar and Saryu
Arts Meri Dhoti Tera Ghagra is now complete after a
five-day shooting stint held from January 7 till 11 at Madh
Island, Film City and on locales of Mumbai. Three songs and
the entire talkie portion of the film were picturised on Yogendra
Konkar, Satnam Kaur, Anamika and Hitesh Sampat. It has cinematography
by Patni Bros, music by Satish Naik and choreography by Dilip
Khanna.

Mixing of N.D.R. Productions Thakur was completed
on January 10 at Anand. The first print of the film was out
on January 18. The film is produced by Dinesh Mohnot, Rakesh
Mohnot and Gaurav Mohnot and directed by JC Jain, Naresh Mohnot
presents it. It stars Dharmendra, Yamini, Kumar Raaj, Hemant
Birje, Raza Murad, Bharat Kapoor, Gurbachan, Birbal, Mahesh
Raaj, Madhoo Tyagi, Neelam, Shehnaz, Sudha Kapoor and Indu
Sharma. Written by Ravi Bhooshan, it has music by Babu Kishan,

Dushmani
The entire unit of Suraj Prakashs, Kareena Sanah Combines,
Dushmani left for Coimbatore on January 1 for a 15-day shooting
stint. Thereafter, the unit left for Hyderabad on January
16 for a further non-stop shooting spell. The entire shooting
including the songs will be concluded in the on-going schedule.
The film stars Mithun Chakraborty, Faisal Khan, Munish Kohli,
Puru Raj Kumar, Arbaaz Ali Khan, Roshni Jaffrey, Mahi Vij,

The last five-day shooting stint of Manav Enterprises
Aandhi Aur Toofan began on January 15 at Chandivali Studios,
Basein Fort and on locales of Mumbai. One song and climax
scenes was picturised on Dharmendra, Nirmal Pandey (in a double
role), newfind Preeti Bhutani, Sanjeevni, Hemant Birje, Rajesh
Rajan, G Harish Kumar, Kulbir Kaur, Pushpa Verma, Pinky Chinoy
and Sadashiv Amarapurkar. Being produced by Ashok Saraswat,
the film has story and direction by S.R. Pratap. Written by
Khaleed Jameel, the film has cinematography by Hira Saroj,
lyrics by Ravi Chopra, music by Amod Bhatt, choreography by
Agnes Hamilton and editing by K Rafiq. VB Saxena Moradabadi
is the executive producer and Peter Almeida is the co-producer.

certificate by the censors. The film is slated for February

Karanda
Producer Shivaji Kalekar (long time production assistant to
SK Talwar, Vinod Talwar and Parto Ghosh) has turned independent
producer and has announced Ambabai Pictures Kunkuwacha
Karanda. The film is being directed by Prabhat Kumar, and
has story by Shiva Kalekar, screenplay-dialogue by Ashok Kambli
and cinematography by Shabbir Naik. Music director Raam Laxman
recoreded all the songs in January. The film will go on the
floors in Kolhapur locales.
