FARZ
Sunny stuns like only Sunny can
Duty,
yes duty, is the soul of society, of humanity, of every man,
woman and child.
Take away duty and there will be a world trapped in disorder.
Disorder will lead to indiscipline, indiscipline will lead
to disillusionment, disenchantment, destruction and finally
degeneration. Duty, the duty to protect man from man is the
very foundation of human life. Think of a world without people,
without a sense of duty and you will think of a world lying
in shambles. And, yet, there are people who go wrong, do wrong,
live wrong, making life a veritable hell on earth. It is thanks
to all those who realise, remember and rise to any occasion
to do their duty. NR Pachisia, the man behind Farz says: Farz
is a story of one man who stands and rises to fight and stun
all that is evil, all that is wrong, all those who incite
the innocent to shirk their duty and fall into the clutches
of a growing gang of people who, unfortunately, believe that
wrong lasts forever, the only power that will overpower the
world one day, the world which is growing weaker because of
the wild exploits of all those who work to wreck all that
is good.

It is just once in several years that a Sunny Deol realises
the power of his duty. He also makes others realise their
power and make them believe that they can wage a war against
every wrong and wipe out the devils designs. The title,
Farz, and Sunny in the leading role leads you to believe that
it is one more of those Sunny-stunners. But our film is very
different, I swear. We have a story which will make sense
to everyone who sees the film. We also have songs and dances
and action shot on various locations, both in India and abroad.
But the real highlight of the film is the ultimate battle
between wrong and right and how everything abnormal is turned
to normal by one mans efforts and his encouragement.
(NR Pachisia)
This is the most memorable film of the year according to Pachisia
and his partner Saini. Sunny strikes like he has rarely struck
in recent times. He has worked with this unit in three films
and this is positively his best.
Filmmaking is difficult according to Pachisia. Farz was a
difficult film to make but only the brave like me and
my team see that the most difficult is turned into the
most easy, enlightening, exciting and above all entertaining.
